First couple: Rape and abuse, but it is portrayed as unhealthy/abusive.

Second couple: The top has sex with the bottom when the bottom is too drunk to consent, even saying the bottom resisted him at first

Why the f would I enjoy a manga with a main story that has a bratty seme and an inconsistent/emotional masochist uke. I'm honestlt disappointed bc it's Cj-sensei we're talking about >_>

BUT THE LAST STORY WAS DAAAANG!!!! IT'S SWEET, AND TO TOP IT ALL, IT INVOLVES A SEKE!!!!!!! I'VE BEEN WAITING TO READ A YAOI LIKE THAT!!! IF ONLY I COULD RATE IT SEPARATELY!!!! T_____T

I like the first story and I wish the author could have spent more time developing and showing the feelings of the characters, the author portrayed such a dark theme lightly which didn't sit well with me. I'm drawn in to the conflicted feelings of the uke of wanting to become free but also wanting to be beside the seme. The seme character is also interesting as he only knows how to show his love in a possesive and almost harmful way. So the characters were promising to me but I feel as if they weren't shown well and the things they did weren't that exciting. The feels were there but they could'va been deeper~

I agree with their relationship skipped a big part. It’s quite common to use that same storyline in yaoi, but there was something weird about the pace. Shinobu didn’t want to feel like Kengo’s toy since the beginning, and only then did he think about the “I wanna be free from this cage” thing. Like he was in love with Kengo for no reason at first and then suddenly wasn’t anymore. What I mean is, the order is reversed from how it should be.
After all, it didn’t even turn to love. Shinobu never even realized he was in love with Kengo; and Kengo, who was clearly in love with Shinobu, didn’t confess. Shinobu was kept as Kengo’s toy, without any further development.

Totally worth reading just that chapter.

I really don't like the main story (chapters 1-3), the "love" was just way too shallow and meaningless.
I did however love the 4th and 6th chapters, both so funny, I mean how could anyone just forget that they've been kidnapped lol. 5th chapter was nice too.
I don't like the art but somehow the sex scenes are still decent.
So my rating is for the oneshots only.

I didn't care at all for the main story. There wasn't really any character development and there can only be so much master/servant stuff before it really feels only like abuse. That one crossed the line within the first chapter.

I really liked chapters 5 and 6 though. They were fun, more lighthearted and quirky in their own ways. Not amazing, but enjoyable. Nice art to round it off.

I can sum this up pretty easily:

Chapters 1-3: spoiled-brat-type seme and in-denial-type uke (plus, he cries x.X).
Chapter 4: Gentle-adult-looking-type seme and reluctant-type uke.
Chapter 5: Just-turned-gay-type seme and ordinary-no-personality-type uke.
Chapter 6: okay, I might have to make an exception for this one. Both the characters are adorable, especially Suguru.

Overall: Hot sex scenes, a lot of sweet-talk, some cute moments indeed, no originality and everything predictable as hell.

Since I was in the mood for that kind of light-hearted story telling, I quite enjoyed it.

Now I gotta pay special attention to the main story because of a few things:

What I particularly liked:

• The metaphor about Shinobu and Kengo’s toys – I’ve never seen it expressed quite this way. They usually say the uke’s a toy, yes, but never compared them to actual toys. It’s just a detail, but I liked it.
• Kengo’s just my type of seme. He’s so mean it’s even more unrealistic – and sexy as hell! And he’s so perverted it’s laughable! I love him =X
• The last one-shot. It's really cute, not as predictable and I really wish it was longer! Also, their love's a bit bittersweet, because they took a freaking lifetime to be together. Aaand it was sexy! All that rope thing, ahh... Oh, and it was actually original, to differ from the rest of this manga.

Anyways, this whole volume has a compilation of Minami Haruka kinds of plots (some of them even had the exact same order of events and twists) and basically the only great thing about it is the art. Every single seme was freaking hot and every uke was cute. Quite a sight for the eyes.

While on the subject… If you liked the first story (or those kinds of stories), read Minami-sensei’s Saihate no Kimi E. It’s exactly the same story, to a point it’s even scarily alike. BUT Saihate’s an excellent manga, one of my favorites.

The art was very good and the later stories were funny and entertaining, but personally I didn't like the title story that much because I just couldn't stand the guy who kept the other as his toy. I wish there was a better end to it, then I think I'd like it more.
