Although, I normally wouldn't mind these tropes so much (Because if I did I wouldn't have many action/adventure manhwa to read.) if it was done in an entertaining manner but this story ain't it.

It is very similar to another manhua, from the similar characters to the similar plot even the name is almost the same lol. I'm talking about The Reincarnated Assassin is a Swordsmaster, they literally seem like the inverse of each other where the character of this manhua has powers that related to dark attribute powers and the MC of the manhua that I compared it to has powers that are light attribute related. Even the person both MCs get their power from are drawn the same, they're just different colors, one being blue and white representative of light attribute powers and the other is black and purple representative of dark attribute powers. I don't think that the series are connected in any way but it could be done by the same artist or studio but I'm not sure. Either way it's a decent story so far and we'll see where it goes from here.
