From Divine Sanctuary: h6m6k

Ogata Aoi is in her second year of middle school and is the president of the student council. The middle school she attends is one of the best in the country and is called "AAA." Aoi goes there to meet her first love, but after a surprising meeting, she's finding out that her first love is a gang leader in the neighbor school, called "CCC" (lowest level). Maybe it's only a coincidence, and that gang leader and her first love just happen to have the same name. After all, they look completely different from each other. But now, Aoi wants to find more about this person...

Good thing it's short...

It’s a good thing it was short, it already had so many clichés in it that I would hate to see what would happen if it were any longer! The many clichés aside the story was all right, it was enjoyable to read but it wasn’t anything special and I won’t go out of my way to recommend this to anyone.

Plot- Not exceptionally unique, but not to bad either. The same plot devices get repeated throughout the story, clichés plot devices most of the time…

Characters- They were all right characters, they had their own unique traits and were over all were quite an enjoyable cast. However there were some things that dragged them down, for one thing the Aoi is supposed to be the AAA but she doesn’t seem all that bright nor does she ever prove that she even deserves to be the AAA. Hayato can be a bit pushy at times and sometimes it seems that he’s just using Aoi and doesn’t realy love her. The secondary cast comes and goes throughout the story with no real role in it and many times it seems they are only there to further Aoi and Hayato’s relationship or get in the way of their relationship, the secondary characters surface and reappear when necessary and none of the secondary characters are developed at all and remain rather stagnant during the manga.

Art- It’s a fine style, nothing too special or note worthy.

Other- As I continued reading the manga I began to like Aoi less, she doesn’t deserve the title of AAA, she wasn’t anything special nor did she seem overly smart. Many scenes of the manga are quite clichéd and while they are heartwarming there isn’t anything that sets them apart from any other scene like it. That’s not to say the manga was bad, but many times it got a bit to clichéd, it is a quick read though so if you’re interested in this type of storyline you should definitely read this.

6/10 – Liked it

Cute, but that's it.

The manga is a lot like the mangaka's previous works, as many have already said.

Very cliche, unrealistic 'typical' shoujo manga plot going on. Entirely predictable.
It's only saving grace is it's [mediocre] art.
It is a little cute at times, though I never really had one of those "Oh, gosh - awwwww!" moments.
All in all, I'm half-heartedly just reading it on the side.

as an honest comment, i never really found Fukushima Haruka's works very interesting. The characters are quite shallow, there isn't much known about them. There's almost always a guy (typically black haired, just an FYI) who loses the girl to another guy.
The art was probably not my favorite, but well-drawn in more ways then one.
I personally thought the ling was quite good and well-paced.

Sometimes, I think, that each series is so similar to another that it's a continuation......like a reincarnation of the previous...

I would only read this manga if you liked the other mangakas works. The characters are very similar to the ones from Cherry Juice and Rui from Orange Planet. It seems to me that Fukishima Haruka loves to draw girls with long orange hair, because in most of her other mangas the girls have..long orange hair. The plot is very cliche, and you wouldn't have this kind of romance in real life. Well, its unlikely. After reading the first chapter it was obvious what was going to happen after....so I dropped this one >_<

As everybody[or almost everyone] has said, Aoi IS pretty similar-looking to the other heroines. (Not to mention the lead guy chara looks pretty familiar as well).

The plot is pretty cliche, with the whole schoogirl-crush thing going on(You know, the "oh my god this guy gave me a pencil so now I will follow- im to his school and stalk him".

The first chapter is pretty slow as well, and I felt that it wasn't really...interesting enough. Usually first chapters have a lot of action, but I felt that this chapter didn't really do anything for me. It just made me feel, "Okay...so?" I didn't REALLY laugh or coo over how cute it was(I did for Cherry Juice, but not this).

Still, I wouldn't ENTIRELY give up on this. Hey, it was only the first chapter, and who knows, maybe this story has a lot more potential than at first glance. Besides, it IS by the mangaka of Cherry Juice and Orange Planet, so it shouldn't be completely horrible.

Cheers.

for some reason, i find this boring. although.... i like the art.

I think it is 'cause the plot is quite typical to me AND the characters do not appear to hav much depth. ppl shuldn't b too discouraged to read this b cause of my comment cause i've only read the first two chaps....so, i might continue this later and REJUDGE it.

~> lack of originality

I love this.
Aoi really looks like Otome and Rui from Cherry Juice and Orange Planet.
It looks like AAA will be even more great than that two mangas +.+ *
