My favorite kind of manga is slice of life, and this is the best manga of that kind that I've read in many years. It's cute, FUNNY, pretty, and lovable. Ryushika is very intelligent, but so little she gets almost everything wrong. If she were an older character, we'd be amused by her mistakes, but embarassed for her at times, so that would be discordant. As it is, she just keeps on being funny and lovable!

This is a hilariously cute little series about little girl with an overactive imagination. Young Ryuushika's musings on the world become hilarious moments that turn the mundane into strange fantastical visions. By her side are her family , who are alternately bewildered or frustrated by her strange interpretations, but sometimes also gently prod her imagination along. Check it out for a relaxing read and lots of laughs.
