The art is good, the character designs are great, the premise is different in a good way, and it does something different instead of trying to copy tropes.
But there are parts I just can't keep my suspension of disbelief for. Even with what the MC (main character) did, the two he rescued attach themselves to him too quickly and too energetically. And he keeps ending up with them due to some really questionable (and weak) scenarios.
Then he helps do something obviously against his best interests, and then acts shocked it wasn't in his best interest.
There are some good moments, and one of my favorite cat girl designs, too. But the author either didn't think things through or otherwise take enough time to make it work properly.
