Well it's taken literally years for a mere 17 chapters to be scanlated. So we will have to see wether the plot actually get better or more probably worse (This IS an Im Dal-Douche series after all.) as the series progresses. I feel apprehensive as I read this because of the trend of his other works. Approach this series with caution people.
I’m shocked is the least I can say [liquidsin] excuse me for saying this but for god sake what manhwa are you reading is it The Phantom King I doubt that’s the case, an example of your sentence is [each page I read felt like I was being stabbed with rusty pins and needles]the first time I read it I was in a state (what the biiiiip) ,one thing I can say for sure the expression using is top notch but I can’t say the same for the topic terribly paling in comparison because for me each alphabet I read from you it’s ME who is stabbed with rusty pins and needles and believe me it HURT , This manhwa you are butchering not giving it a fair critique is by far one of my favorite and a jewel in the manga/manhwa word if you are from those who can’t keep with scenes of blood and violence or a shojo reader who can only see in a feminine view I’m deeply sorry for commenting harshly and I recommend you for searching in other area maybe you can find your shangrila.

I'm stunned that there are people capable of reading past four simple chapters. I would have stopped after the first had this series not received such a great rating. There must have been some reason for it, yet I didn't find a single redeeming quality during my time reading. Hell, each page I read felt like I was being stabbed with rusty pins and needles.
The art style is bland, but that hasn't kept me from reading other series. The storyline cliche, but really, what isn't nowadays. The characters, however, are god-awful. Each female has an unexplained attraction towards the protagonist which gets old extremely fast, while the rest of the cast just aren't engaging. There isn't anyone memorable or even likeable in the slightest case.
Do yourselves a favor and this one up.
