From Lililicious:A story about two classmates who become friends, Sahoko and Rio. Rio is depressed and self-abusive and isn't loved by her "family" (which consists of her father, stepmother, and stepbrother), but Sahoko seems to be the bright spot in her life. Sahoko also seems to have a mysterious past and doesn't seem to have a good relationship with her parents; she lives with her aunt. 2s6j

unfortunately i had to reread this one as my first source had vol 1 and 2 in the wrong order and silly me thought it started like that. Putting that aside great read and although the art style might put people off a little i really thought it went well with the over all tone, particularly in their moments of angst. I only wish the whole house burned down.......
i think the art style make everything feels slow and quite. as such, their feelings felt muted and not received properly by the readers. their relationship is also quite abrupt, i cannot understand how they go from not talking to each other and straight to kissing. its as if sahoko just let rio do whatever she wants. its better if their relationship get more development.
and i really hate the mambo jumbo 'evolutionary' stuff the psychologists spouted, why cant they love just for love?
I don't normally read this genre, but this manga left me speechless.
It's about two girls who met once, and fate led them to eventually found each other again. One had received too much love from her family and one was hated by her parents. They connected to each other in order to survive. They learned to love and to have hope for the future again.
The story is tragic but heart-warming. The graphic is simple yet beautifully drawn. The plot itself is fascinating and very touching. One may wonder what kind of person or parent can do something terrible to a helpless child. I trembled while reading this manga. I couldn't wait to see how the ending turns out. And by the end of the story I was almost moved to tears.
It may be my own opinion, but the realism, art and psychological plot are beautiful. This story does not need to rely on smut, humour or plot twists; it is simply a story about two girls who form a bond between one another, learning to love and rely on each other and themselves in a truly touching story.

I can't find a thing I'm dissatisfied with in this manga. Really heartwarming story with strong (in more then one sense) characters. The sort of relationships it portrays seems to be ideal for long term.
Couldn't stop reading this until I'd seen the ending. Such a sad yet warming story. The art is quite average, but the story makes up for all that.
This was one of best written shoujo-ai mangas that I have ever read. The story kept me emotionally and mentally involved. The art was not great, but it was better than the other one of Haruno-sensei's mangas that I've read, Double House. 9.7/10

I was woundering if there is someplace I could find or buy this manga? Has it been released in Canada? It's looks very great, and I'd love to read it.
This is a beautifully, touching, shoujo-ai about the relationship between two girls, each with their own psychological problems. It's great how they each rely on one another and the complex family situations which are involved as well. I had a problem with the artwork though and the pacing of the events didn't flow so well, from one to another. Nonetheless this is a good way to kill 2 hours. ^_^
This is a beautiful and very touching story whose only flaw is being too short, and leaving you wanting more. Whether you like shoujo-ai or not, do yourself a favor and read this. One of my all-time favourite reads.
