'You... never changed at all. The touch of your rough lips and the way your hands gather as if praying when you're nervous... That foolish side of yours.' 59k1o
Outstanding look, top of the department. Jeong Dojun —Business Department, Class of '18— thought that his university life would go smooth, but he ended up meeting Song Jaehee again inside their dormitory. There was something that he couldn't solve with Song Jaehee during high school.
'Is it wrong for me to have a crush on you?'
'...'
'You just ended up ignoring me and left.'
Dojun only wanted to run away, but when Jaehee told him, 'I have no feelings for you anymore.' he smiled. Unfortunately, Jaehee's broken arm was Dojun's fault. Instead of repaying with money, he offered a contract. He wanted Dojun to be his lover for only 4 weeks?

Just got kinda bored. Maybe I’ll come back to it. For now, I’m quoting and going for something that draws my attention better. Note to self, continue from chapter 10. I don’t rate stories I didn’t finish.
it's been going on for so long that i actually forgot many plots, AND THAT'S OK! It's still a good manhwa, I can only enjoyable things from it and how it created many deep emotions within me!

Begins to drag in the second and third season. I was wondering what more could the story cover. Well, finally now it's picking up again with resolving Dojun complicated family situation. I appreciate that and find it interesting, but I think the author could have cut out a few chapters to get to this arc faster. The whole bit about Jaehee's "ex-gf" could have been skipped. As well as the bullying in college.
The author has a knack for making Jaehee's controlling, stalkerish, and protective behavior come across as really cute and endearing. I feel so mixed about it. Jaehee's is so completely genuine and sincere that it's not even a secret to folks that he tries to manipulate everything around Dojun to keep Dojun close. How does that come across as so sweet?!? How?!? I just love how his red flags are shades of green and his green flags are shades of red. Dojun seems to be happy and sometimes ignorant, sometimes even willfully ignorant. They really work so well together even though under the facade is kind of messed up. What a weird relationship. It could only work with two people like them.
I think I read up to Ch 20+ before I thought the constant Will They, Won't They? issues continued to haunt me since the beginning. We know as readers the main couple does like each other but let's read like 10+ ch where society is against them and I'm like ok.
Also, it takes place during their college but all the flashbacks are of them in HS and I kept thinking how boring their relationship won't progress for tons of chapters because of MC's insecurity but I'm thinking what if it's like for this the rest of S1? I just feel tired at the very idea.
Art is cute ... the LI is a green flag and yeah pretty much if you have ALOT of patience for reading.

For reference, I stopped reading around the end of season 2. I thought the earlier season was really good, but it just kept going on past its natural end and each episode just becomes more boring than the last. I cannot even imagine what season 3 could possibly be about and at this point I’m not interested in finding out. I’m rather disappointed that I leave this series like this because I actually really enjoyed it in the beginning.

Yes, the story is good. Yes, the smut is good. If you had to choose between the R15 or the R19 version, the answer is to just start reading. I started with the R15 (manta version) and I just love the intense pure love that our two main characters have for each other. It is PURE! (And yes, they do have a lot of sex. I did not realize how much and how smutty it was until I started reading the mature version... Either version is great to pick up because the all-ages version is chapters/a season ahead of the mature version, versus really great smex scenes.)
The characters are so lovable. Part of the appeal is that the two main characters wholeheartedly love each other. There is no doubt in any part of the story that Jaehee loves Dojun. And early on, it's clear that despite Dojun avoiding Jaehee, he too really likes Jaehee. They love each other- a lot and it feels nice to read without any love triangle or misunderstandings that other romance stories typically have. I'm also fond of how incredibly book-smart, yet naive Dojun is, and how rich and single-minded Jaehee is. While Jaehee is obsessive, at least he's not two-faced or socially manipulative like some other romance characters.
Unfortunately, flashbacks in stories are not always the easiest to implement. Season one of 4 Week Lovers goes between the present and past more than once and unfortunately, it gets -0.5 in its rating from there. We get a lot of information about the characters, especially Dojun, through the flashbacks, but we're initially introduced and invested to the story in present times. Flashbacks, especially multiple flashbacks, can make it harder to enjoy the story.
The story and the characters are still really, REALLY GREAT. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND READING THIS. The switching between present and past times only really happen in season one. Keep reading and you'll definitely enjoy reading this comic. Wholesome love like nowhere else. And the s in smex can get interesting, as well as the smex itself.
It's funny, the art is cute.
However the story flow is a bit confusing.....sometimes... especially when using flashbacks to their high school days. It goes back and forth to the present and then back to high school days flashbacks.

Jahee and Dojun are so cute and sexy together. I love Jahee's affection towards Dojun. The art, characters, story, and smut are 10/10.
