Great story about vikings, which is a pretty rare subject in mangas 🙂 I like it a lot, give it a try if you aren't disturbed by a little blood
epic north european battle included the Danes and England. Its very interesting even though the story is simple and easy to follow. If you like action, epic war, you can't miss this one. Unlike Berserk and Claymore, this one is bit more realistic.

Thors the Throll is the most badass character I've seen in a manga in a long time. ;'D Kudos to him.
Really Great Manga thus far, If you liked berserk i have a feeling you will like this. If you hated berserk you will like this anyway because its just that good.10/10
Of the lesser "mainstream" // at least for us non-native consumers // Vinland Saga and Pluto definitely stand out as the best overall works available.
Almost nothing to criticize here, the art is terrific, story is intense but does not lose its seinen qualities, and characters engaging. One downside might be its slow release, but as long as the quality's there I do not mind one bit waiting a year a volume.

As the previous posts have said, this one holds tremendous potential. An out-of-the-ordinary story that has all the necessary ingredients to become a masterpiece. Gives a similar feel as claymore in my opinion, but Vinland Saga targets perhaps a more mature audience. I loved claymore, but I think I will love this one even more. Can't wait for the next release.
i agree with darkgenio, this one could be great. i hope it keeps up to the quality it is showing right now...it has great artwork, excellent fighting scenes, interesting plot, and intensifying character development..
