This could have been good, but the story feels ALMOST like a checklist being read out. Very little time is spent actually developing things properly and it's just made even worse by a poor translation.
The FL is very unpleasant and is throwing a hissy fit.
Sure, the girl who is replacing her as Oracle and crown princess is just as stupid with spreading rumors about her but that kid looks, sounds and acts like a literal child whereas FL is, atleast, 18 years old.
1FL's retaliation is out of proportion and roping in other people we've not even been introduced too yet. FL says they're bad people and we're just to believe that? No on screen evidence? Uh. Okay.
Maybe other readers will give FL's nasty attitude a because FL did spend nearly two decades as the Oracle, crown princess beloved by the crown prince, and treated like the most precious, spun glass, holy relic so, to FL, maybe losing that is traumatic. It still doesn't excuse her ugly behavior.
She also only retaliates against the women. The only thing she does is to return the engagement ring back to the crown prince...who callously dropped their relationship and engagement like a hot potato the second another Oracle was announced. After 18 years of living together?! Whew, boy, that was brutal to read. But, nah. She does NOTHING (as of ch.10) to him.
Her revenge should've been against the crown prince first and foremost but she goes after a little kid instead.
She's still a duke's daughter despite losing all of the other speshul-ness. She's still going back home to a life of luxury. With doting, loving parents who desperately miss her when she was taken away by the King to live in the palace as a child.
She has nothing to really whine about.
