There are funny parts, especially at the beginning. But the story starts to drag on with a mostly predictable storyline. The last half probably could have been summed up in a couple episodes.
One thing I didn’t like about the female lead was how obtuse she was. She wasn’t an airhead, but she just “didn’t get” a lot of the obvious points. (For example: She couldn’t get the plant from the celestial people to grow. The male lead then tells her directly she has to put her feelings into it, not just think of it as a chore. Then she is like, “What are feelings” (even after she chided the male lead for not showing feelings. 🤦♀️)
And even though the goddess was like “tell him your storybook past,” she was still like “I can’t tell him.” Ugh. I already hate it when characters are like that, but she had the GODDESS telling her to and she still didn’t want to. 🤦♀️
