a lot of great ratings for this and yet.... it's not that great. >_> if i was new to manga i'd say it's ok.... but personally right now it kinda bores me. Suggesting this to those who aren't looking for anything great.
the plot is very well done, and developped, as are the characters. the art is nice too. even though sasamori always seems to have wind in her hair! 😀
the main characters are very likeable aswell.
i'd disagree with what Denyx has to say, true the chapter has left us with that cliff hanger, but, the rest of the story relies on how toru reacts so until we know, we don't know whether it'll become all episodic romance manga 😀
it's a must reaD!
oh man, in the beginning of the story, it gave off good vibes, nice storyline, so I thought well i'll give it a try, so far its good until ch 28, then, there goes another bad-romance-manga-storyline
to be simple, another girl ed, main heroine got jealous, the new girl confessed, main hero tried to get rid of the new girl, his act made a new misunderstanding with main heroine, main heroine cried and left
oh man, please dont make this series into another roller-coaster-romance
my rating used to be 9/10, but now its 7/10
10/10 For sure, this manga has everything you need for light reading:
-Cute characters
-Likable protagonist and likable love interest
-No stupid fan service
-No annoying childhood friend/tsundere school president/idol fight for affection
-Interesting, albeit simplistic and shallow, puzzle arcs (I did say light reading)
-Well characterized and three dimensional ing characters that aren't paper cut outs
-Villains that are easy to sympathize with rather than being evil for the sake of being evil
-Minimal use of stupid plot devices to fill in plot holes (not being 300 chapters long helps, obviously)
-Believable dialogue and minimal use of "manga logic"
-Most important of all: great art.
I can go on and on about how great this manga is, but there are a few weaknesses. It is a bit shallow. The hardcore seinen/psychological fan won't be too intrigued by what's going on here. The exposition is lacking, the setting feels a bit forced and almost all background information is given through flashbacks. There are a lot of missed opportunities, especially at the beginning, to emphasize the difference between those with and those without irises. (I can't really fault the manga too much because it was supposed to be a very short series with no plans for a long serialization.) It also isn't very dark, which by itself isn't a weakness per se, but genre fans generally like the dark stuff.
Despite all that I give it a 10/10. There are deep underlying themes within the story; character foils and recurring motifs add to the complexity of each member of the main cast. It's rare that I care about every single character connected to the main protagonist, but this mangaka has done it. The strength of the characters far outweigh the comparably miniscule complaints I have about this manga.
Everyone should give this series a try, at the very least read the first 2 arcs.

How can a supernatural school story with no fanservice, no violent action and a rather generic art style keep me so addicted. The characters really shine in this show with superpowers that only make the drama better.
One of the few ones that deserve high praise. The characters are wonderful, the idea is really unique, you have sweet and cute, dramatic and shocking and sad and depressing moments. the art is good, the topic is quite serious (if you actually think about it), and you get provided with a background story for every important character in each arc.
In addition the protagonist is someone whom you can really like: he is smart, considerate but still a regular human being.
about to be perfect: 9.5/10

This manga is one of the best i've read so far. the concept is basic and the art work are nice. aside from some holes in the concepts, (which i think every manga will have) it is a masterpeice!
This is one of the rare series that attracted me almost entirely by merit of how cool the main character is. The rest of the series, the characters, the setting, and the powers seem a little cliche but the main character pulls it together. Finally an mc that solves problems with his brain and isn't a homicidal maniac.
this manga is very good
it's hard to find some manga like this... and the character are developed well and fairly
characters design are cute and I know there will be some serious arc coming up
this manga will make you think a lot and the protagonist is very smart...
the only bad thing is just a long update... hahaha
I was like OMFG, this series gets higher ratings then Akira, than it must be pretty amazing! Too bad this ain't true. I haven't got the faintest idea why this is called seinen because the characters (high school kids) lack depth as well as development. Without the main character the story would break down like a house of cards. This is because the episodic story is about him deducting riddles about the behaviour of others and their specialities. If you don't expect a masterpiece and feel like reading shounen it would be a good read though.
