Shinji Ikari attends the NERV Foundation Academy and lives a life of relative normality. One night he encounters Rei Ayanami and Kaworu Nagisa fleeing the scene of a violent explosion and is eventually recruited to assist them and Asuka Sohryuu Langely in fighting the Angels, who have taken on human form, in order to retrieve their cores to the world tree, Yggdrasil. Should the Yggdrasil die, their world would be thrown into a chaotic state where parallel streams of existence collide, eventually bringing about the destruction of all things. 3g6m15
4 Volumes (Complete)

Well I thought this was a boring multiverse of evangelion in which it just had that feeling that there was something left to be desired with the plot in general. Maybe I'm just pissed that the ending was a little rushed and the huge plot holes as deep as a trench but it had its redeeming qualities such as the characters that we all know and are comfortable with. Anyway, I would want a do over for this manga.
It was so abrupt, that I was like: "what? that's it?" And it looks so promising! The art was so nice and the flow of the story (for the first few volumes) is really good. Not episodic or anything. But man, the ending turned me off........kind of weird actually...
the last volume is a disappointment D:
i really hope the author take the time ending this tittle.
i wish she take few volume more so that the end will be proper.
well, what have been done cannot be undone.
anyway,
the first three volumes are amazing.
Well started really cool, an multiverse of evangelion, one of the nicest and famous mangas ever.
It felt almost like a sequel of neon genesis evangelion.
But somewhere in the 10's chapters, started to fell like a complete dejavu, and not a cool one.
Kinda messed up like busou renkin, too much questions, poor explanation's for them, i tought it could be a little more deeper, and could have an better development for the characters.
Why did she do half assed like that? Just cause they are way too similar to the original eva? Don't you guys think that she was a little cocky doing that?
just cause u are doing an parody of an famous manga dont mean that everyone has to read the original manga.
and the ending... was disgusting.
it's obvious that the ending was forced, didn't explain anything, like how shinji's father changed for another multiverse, what happened to the other's angel's? they had an "happy ever after?", idk, seriously, horrible...
Lots of potential here, and looks good so far. I especially like how the author drew parallels and used common elements like having EVAs (Neat little twist though).
storywise, we still have angels, but these will leave a much different impression on you.
Overall, I find this one much better than any of the other alternatives (Iron maiden and the ikari shinji-whatever). Is it better than the doujinshi Re-Take? We'll have to wait and see...
: a Gar/Manly Shinji is a good Shinji! (not Gar enough yet...)

With the other two 'alternative' NGE stories being Girlfriend of Steel and Ikari Shinji Raising Project, this seems to be the one with the most going for it. But still Shinji seems too assertive, as in the other AU manga. Ah well, we'll have to see.
EDIT: After seeing where this is serialized, I'm hoping it doesn't turn out to be yaoi.

to see how this series turn out. Similar to Angelic Days and Ikari Shinji Ikusei Keikaku with the characters being related to a school in some form or fashion. The colored cover looked really well done.
Indeed, in the first chapter you see Ayanami fight some "crows" and after being defeated they drop a black pearl, gem looking thing called "cores". Asuka is barely introduced, hope to see more of her :) Nagisa also plays an important role in fighting against the "real Angels" (yes, they're really angel-looking things that they fight o.O)

Artwork starts off fantastic. Author gives up halfway through or something and it's worse than Kubo Tite; not only are there no backgrounds, the characters are just so blobby. Story swings around the same way. I wouldn't recommend this.
