Description

Because of Season 2

I was so creeped out by the adults/devils/demons wanting to kidnap and/or marry a literal 5 year old.

Sure, her soul is a full grown adult but physically? No. No.

And it doesn't count between the Princess and Wolf Fur, the ML.

"Grooming" is A process where a perpetrator manipulates a child (or vulnerable adult) to gain trust and ultimately engage in sexual abuse.

Contrary to what a bunch of idiots are claiming there is. NO. Grooming. Because the Princess never saw Wolf Fur/Kahil in a romantic OR sexual light in her childhood and early teen years.

Even well into the last half of the story and late teen years this relationship doesn't feel like a romance at all. The Princess's ambiguous feelings for Wolf Fur/Kahil was never satisfactorily explained.

Kahil literally gave his soul to her but her love for him reads and feels like it's on the same scale as her love for a beloved pet.

That's another complaint; the romance wasn't romancing.

Anyway, I wish these assholes would think before they use salacious terminology, especially so incorrectly.

I'm relieved that the story never tried to sex up or cutesy-fy the devil/demon's obsession with the toddler Princess either. Everyone who wholesomely adores the Princess in Season 1 is absolutely revolted by "the proposal" for a 5 year old from the devil/demon that's taken the body of a 20 year old.

The narrative, thankfully, doesn't try to gaslight and glaze over this grossness either. In fact, the way this storyline was drawn/written was so effective it made me drop the series a couple of times because I felt physically queasy.

Upon re-read this plot line and those characters still gets my hackles raised even though I obviously know what's going to happen.

Good job artist, writer, adapter, editors and translators! Now that is some talent.

Also absolutely AMAZING job with the use of assets for the jewels. They're often correctly matched to the light source and looks like they were re-colored to match the art style. They're even given 3d effects at certain angles. Kudos to the artists.

EDIT: The proper usage of the art assets went downhill in the latter part of the last season and in the extras. Disappointed.

This is a series that I genuinely had a love/hate with at the beginning due to

Enisha was hella ugly as a baby/child
The father and twin bros are seriously wayyyyy too protective & affectionate with her
The typical feeling of a MC having things go too smoothly for her

However! After I got past roughly 20+ chapters, I realised it's not as bad because Enisha technically DOES think. She's mostly able to save herself. When she needs the help, it is due to the limitations and it does make sense as I got deeper into the story.

As much as Enisha seems like a character that received love from others without doing much... she actually does do things.
It just so happens that things conveniently did when she reawakened as Enisha lol.

What I mean by this is

☆ Her waking up as Hyperion's star, only princess, is obviously bound to have her gain affection because that title alone is precious. However, she did bring colour into the life of those in the palace, especially her new family.
☆ Her past role as the High mage. As a High Mage, she had done so much for the mages that it is given that they would continue adoring her even after her rebirth. They looked past her exterior and continued iring her as their High mage.
☆ Kahil. Enisha obviously didn't expect Kahil to literally worship her after she saved him. She saved him because she had the means to, and from his side... as a child who suffer so much, he was bound to worship her as his saviour. Much as the left and right mages. However, the catch is that he ended up liking her too lol.
☆ Various other characters that Enisha has saved whether directly or indirectly. With the things she do, people are bound to follow her.

Yea sure, there are some mindless followings and that's mostly due to her standing plus how much positive bright image she has as the Princess. Nothing wrong with being a fan of such a good Princess hahaha

Another thing to note besides all of the above is the characters individual personalities.
Yes, most of them are kinda having a Enisha loving-cult, but that's besides the point.

What interesting to me is that most characters stayed true to their rooted personality. Like how the royal family is still generally ruthless/scary unless Enisha steps in. This stayed even till the end of the series haha
Then there's the left and right mages. Their love for her goes beyond romance. To me, they were her family before she became Enisha. As much as they rely on her, they also want her to rely on them. I really like the green haired mage!♡

The other side characters like uhhh I forgot her name but she's that old mage with red hair who ended up as Enisha's guard in school. While she goes grow to like Enisha, she still has her coward personality and liking free stuff lol

Lastly, Kahil. FRANKLY SPEAKING I FORGOT WHAT THE WHOLE 3 VOWS THING WAS.
Ehem. Anyways....
Frankly speaking, I initially had doubts of them even liking each other on top of the fact that Enisha is technically old.... Kahil's initial obsession made it worse lol. He felt like...a child. 😂
Which is why the school arc was so important for them. The distance, and time apart really helped Kahil mature (at least not so childish...?) and sorts out Enisha's feelings since she did not thinking of romance at all. Despite all these, it's still apparent that Kahil still has a streak of worshipping Enisha to the point of sacrificing himself for her without thinking.

All in all, I like the characters and story!
Enisha's change in views, especially on how she views her life! is the most important aspect of this series.
She started her life with no family, got up to the highest position as High Mage, restarted as a Princess. As much as her life seemed good and convenient, you'd realise that she was actually heavily burdened with responsibilities in both lives. As High Mage and as a Princess. It was instilled in her that she has to take responsibility which was why she was very easily pressured down during the 2nd fight with Avartia (i forgot his name ok).
She needed to realised that while she has people she wants to protect and save... those same people treasure her too.

It was fun at first. I liked that the fl actually had background (being an archmage) instead of just some rando reincarnating and suddenly knowing how to work and use the power/magic system.
The dynamic of her dad and brothers being doting and doing all they can to protect her while being comedic was cute in the early chapters but it eventually got old.

The characters weren't growing, The plot got lost in all the "comedy", and the pacing (if any) wasn't there.

While irritating the ever living shit out of me to begin with, the Youngest Princess has crawled ever so slightly into my heart. A large part of the early chapters are focused on the “comedy” elicited by blood thirsty monarchs being daughter/sister cons and it was ammonia-esque to me. Cringe inducing and sometimes plain trite. This is still present in the most recent chapters, but the surrounding plot and characters have had the chance to grow, as has the MC herself. This is beginning to dilute the aforementioned “jokez” and actually explore the princess as an autonomous character in the story and her relationships and place in the world. This is good – the princess as disappeared archmage adds all sorts of interesting directions the plot could take, as well as giving her a backstory intrinsically relevant to the world she resides in (which is sorely lacking from many stories where a normie female from IRL enters into a fantasy world). Under the assumption this positive development continues, this could end up being one of the better works in this sub-genre.

Another story in the series of a mature woman that gets reincarnated and has a deranged person as father. The others most noteworthy being "Suddenly Became a Princess One Day", "Daughter of the Emperor" and "They Say I Was Born a King's Daughter". They all pretty much go the same route in a sense (daughter winning over Dad's affection) but this one adds the MC being an invincible mage an top of it.
So far, the MC is interesting, she's not just a cute bunny but is using her position intelligently and manipulating his crazy family masterfully and often in funny ways. Story on the other hand has been an absent point so far for the most part, I'm not sure where this is going but at least the pace is good, while she she's not getting older there is always something interesting or funny happening. Also, art is nice and solid.
Of all of them I find this one the most interesting but to be fair with only 38 chapters it hasn't have time to go down the drain yet, the 100ch mark will tell. So I hope it can keep it up.

Very wholesome, unexpectedly funny but inconsistent

First off, I laughed a lot more than I ever expected while reading this. The over the top doting moments I thought would make me cringe actually became the highlights. Those moments were just absurd yet characteristic that I couldn't help but laugh at their suffocating affection for the princess. Although there were some moments where I rolled my eyes but those are few and far between.

The pacing is good, the art is pretty--for the most part. Some s were gorgeous while others were lackluster and had proportional issues. Sometimes they took away from the story but it was more than made up for with the cute banter and dialogue between the characters. I adore every moment I see others loving the princess, kudos to the author for making me feel like another character who had been swooned by the princess.

Though there are some other inconsistencies. Most of the time the princess, whose soul is actually of a grown woman, acts like her past self-- as an adult. Though there are moments where her behavior was odd, to the contrary of what she'd said before. The most prominent moment was when

dealing with the wolf fur child. First, she likes him and acts kind to him then the next she's annoyed and called him a brat when he's done nothing different? I found that odd. There were also inconsistencies in how she talks. Sometimes she talks wike a wittle baby then other times she speaks like an adult. This might be a typesetting issue but it can get confusing as a result.

Overall this is a wholesome story with no big drama (yet; though what's updated so far is a cliffhanger). So if you're looking for a light read this could be it! I would recommend giving this a try.
