An OK collection of short stories

If you're after some stories about aimless youth idling/fighting their days by, presented in an atypical art style, then this manga is what you're looking for. It's not exceptional and most stories don't have any sort of closure to the proceedings but it's an OK read. My favourite chapters were chapter 1,4 and 5.

edit: re-read it after 8 years. Watched the movie before reading the manga. I didn't think much of the movie but after having read the manga, I thought it was a small accomplishment they made something coherent out of this collection of short stories. By the way, the final chapter has some amazing compositions/drawings. Really cool-looking & unique. Oozing with style.
