The anime and manga are both based on an outline by Akira Toriyama and differ greatly. The Galactic Patrol Prisoner and Granolah the Survivor Sagas are manga original, set after Broly. Resurrection F & Broly happen off-screen. Super Hero is extended through prequel and epilogue stories.

Okay, now whatever I am going to speak, I am going to speak the truth.
This series was literally much much better than the original dragon balls. It had amazing art and a brilliant storyline. I mean the story was even better than the Dragon Ball Z series. The whole idea was pretty interesting and the cliffhangers made my want to read more.
I really liked the fight scenes, majorly because they were better than . I was interested in this majorly because it allowed me to read at own pace. The conversation during the fights weren't as long. They were just the right amount.
The Story:
The story was the best part of this Saga, it was totally awesome! I loved how goku was challenged in this and for this part I believe I will be re-reading this a lot of times
