1 Volume (Complete)

Yes I must it that this oneshot was different than many other oneshots i have read. It is very sweet in a way that is original. It seems like one of those nice readings that might end up sad, but somehow this one was different from what i had expected. I really loved the art and storyline;very original.
I really enjoyed this. It's sort of historical, set in the Taisho era, and psychological, in the ways that their mothers both hated them and they both were so broken and lonely. It was a very sweet story and, although not straying too far from typical, is definitely refreshing, a little different, and a nice change from the ordinary shoujo stories. I'm one of those people who try to look for the atypical series so you can trust me that this isn't a storyline you've seen a hundred times.
But it could've done without the whole supposed 'incest' thing, the 'dreaded hidden past' mentioned in the summary, especially since it's NOT true that they're siblings, which she finds out in the end, and her mother had lied anyways just to keep them apart. Not entirely believable in only one aspect: the whole justifying-the-mother's-actions-and-lies kind of thing at the end and trying to make a truly cruel person seem not so bad.
Overall, one of the best short works I've read in awhile.
The oneshot was decent, my nitpick being that she fell for him so fast but that can't be helped. I think she's better at short works than oneshots because of the development. It was a tad typical in parts, but otherwise, it had a good ending that was a little funny.

Oh my, I loved this work so much. The setting, the characters, everything is perfect. It seemed very authentic to its historical setting—in the way the characters acted and spoke, etc. I thought the plot was very believable and original too. It's really a joy to read!
(also, the one-shot at the end is so incredibly adorable I almost can't believe it's possible. Taamo-sensei's a genius!)

A must read!
I really like the way this manga is drawn and the story was sweet 😀 Even though it was a one volume manga, it made me experience different emotions. Just give it a try!
