Art and dialogue remind me of a collection of short stories that revolve around certain characters that are all connected somehow. Edward and Justin are realistic characters. I relate to some of their experiences and thoughts. I'm really hoping that the Guitar Club has some impact on the story; music clubs are my jam! Simple narrative and no dramatic plot. Storyline is driven by the growth of the bonds between characters. One of the few couples that fell in love in a realistic way because of all the little things cumulating. Good advice relative to the story.
Typically, slow plot is boring af but for this one, it engages the readers like they are personal witnesses or even participants in the story of how the characters develop their feelings, overthink, and communicate. I also love that it's so cliche and relatable (not that I have love life lol) but there's no overdramatic conflict or extra detestable antagonist, just development.
My only complain is that there are no side stories, I'd love to see more of them as an adult couple as well as the other [potential] couples and characters 🤧
It's fluff and that's all it needs to be. The writer does a good job of getting you invested in both characters and their relationships. The art is beautiful and the pacing is great. You feel like you're seeing something real unfolding.
I have been reading boys love comics...for a long time. But I have to say, this is one of the most refreshing (?), candid and real manga/manwha that I've ever read. First, the art is so beautiful, simple and clean and the colors used truly tie everything together nicely. Story is developing slowly in the beginning but it is a good thing, the pace is done well. Overall I hope more people recognize this piece of work because it is a hidden gem. Please read it!
I LOVE this webtoon. so much. it's so cute. light-hearted with just the right amount of drama. pretty realistic, but it doesn't really depict college students life in of studying or job-seeking and the likes.
it's rather slow paced, maybe very slow. i'm not irritated in a bad way so far, though.
art is also beautiful holy shit. just read this guys
