Great story & art, but slow & rushed ending
by fishiiie

Rating: 8.0  / 10.0

The reason I rated this rather high is primarily because of the art. It's AMAZING, and I love the amount of detail that went into... everything. The character design of each individual is absolutely stunning. Doctor Jeong, for example, is so atrocious. 🤣 And why does the evil Chairman look so handsome/ordinary/human?! Etc - I can go on and on.

However, the pacing of the story is problematic. The story was really good, and even unique, but about 1/4 to 1/2 in I was itching to drop this despite the good art and plot, and I wondered why. Then I realized it was too slow. WAY too slow. I suffered through S1 so bad.

S2, however, was better and the story picked up considerably in the later half or last 1/3. I actually enjoyed the last half/third of the story most, because that was the main "juice" of the series. It was actually fun and kept me glued.

The abrupt ending was too bad, because it could have been wrapped up much better. Again, this could be a pacing issue, or the series could have been prematurely cut/cancelled, but I feel it's the former.

All that to say, however, I enjoyed it. :) The author does a great job introducing and re-introducing characters. Quite a fun series, if you can get through the slow pace.

Nothing Great

For it to be titled Delivery Knight there wasn't much delivery knighting going on. It mostly pointless mundane tryout fights and other plot devices that got old really fast. There wasn't much backstory of why we got to where we were.

Most of the characters are completely stupid but the girl FMC is by far the most stupidiest in the whole story. Added the enormous plot armor she a 90ib wet girl is giving being able to fight toe to toe with giant muscle guys just because she has 'hard bones' only adds to the ridiculousness of the story.

Also the big reason why all these events that led up to all the fight and such was.

To make the ultimate delivery guy! Yes, the whole point of the kidnapping, testing, and experimenting was just for that. I facepalmed myself so hard. Just stupid, so stupid.

Added to insult we didn't even get to see the MC fight one of the top special guards in the end. We just got monologued bad guy talk with the FMC grandstanding baloney.

I hope their new one Killer Cop doesn't turn out this way.

Really dumb story
by skynet5c

Rating: 2.2  / 10.0

Can't believe I finished this manhwa. The story was so dumb.

First of all, the main girl character was like 13 or 15? Either way she was skinny as a stick and clearly didn't have any muscles so how was she able to hold her own against super muscular pro fighters?

The fight scenes were not realistic AT ALL. To the point of detracting from my enjoyment of the story. They were full of stupid cliches like someone being able to run faster than someone can swing a fist or a sword. Sorry, that's just dumb. You can't dodge a fist by jumping over it, wtf.

The worst thing is, yes the girl has hard bones but that doesn't mean anything when you can just knock her out or better still just choke her out. It's not difficult since she's just a skinny kid and has barely any muscles. Yet LITERALLY NONE of the characters in the story attempted to choke her out despite that being the most obvious solution to her hard bones.

The villains were all 1-dimensional cardboard cutouts. Basically evil rich villains who want to kill the poor because they're snobs or something. It's overcliched. Idk how someone can call this a good story. It's not. It might work as a cartoon for 5 year olds, and even then it'd be B-tier at best.

Characters were stupid. The girl Sanwol was unbelievably stupid and reckless. The other characters were stupid too. Most of the guys were just knuckleheads who seem to be incapable of doing anything other than seeking out fights. The main male character was barely present and had pretty much no agency all throughout the story. He just reacted to events and just coincidentally runs into things as they happen. There were so many of those plot contrivances where the MC suddenly shows up just as a good guy is about to get killed. It's really bad writing.

So overall, the story sucks, the characters are badly written, and there is no theme or morals to speak of other than "evil greedy corporation bad". And the solution? Just beat up the big bad CEO and every societal problem will be solved somehow. It's such a stupid story.

Lot of potential, but got rushed in the last third

Like suli235 wrote, the manhwa was obviously rushed. It‘s really a shame, because the story could‘ve easily gone on for another 90 chapters. The potential for more epicness was definitely there.
You can tell, the author had planned more things, but apparently it got axed.

Still a good read. The characters are lovely and easy to root for and I really like that the MC is mentally tough but physically struggles a lot, even until the very end. She is a skinny girl after all, and while there are some supernatural powers in the story, physical fitness still plays a big role. And a teenage girl just can‘t fight a big muscular man and expect to wipe the floor with him, even if he is just fodder. In that regard the fights are very realistic and I appreciate that.

I disagree with the „loose ends“ that suli235 mentioned, though. Every storyline was brought to an end (except one fight at the very end, but that one wasn‘t really important and we can guess who won). It was extremely rushed, unfortunately, two strong characters were thrown in at the end, without even mentioning their names, but.... from a pure factual perspective, every secret and open question has been resolved.

But there could‘ve been so much more and the ending could‘ve been really epic, but without proper build-up it all just falls flat.

It really pains me because I liked the characters very much. What could‘ve been.....

Still a 7 for me, because it‘s a good read.

Rushed ending but great while it lasted

Great manhwa, but the ending was definitely rushed, with more than a few loose ends left, which was a shame because I felt like it could have been wrapped up cleanly with just 5 more chapters. Good story telling before the last few chapters when it began to feel rushed, and loved that there was a strong female lead.
