I'm very into old manga. I like the art, i like the campyness that you often see in plotlines, i like the ridiculousness of it all.
Maybe it all started with Kimagure Orange Road, a manga that i ended up enjoying tremendously.
Sasuga no Sarutobi provides a light comedy with a ninja plot. It isn't perfect, and the story drags through the middle, but there aren't many more flaws that i can find in it.
It doesn't take itself very seriously and so i can't be harsh. In what other manga would you find a fat ninja protagonist who also has plenty of talent?
Overall, if you want to spend some time on it everyday it will provide it's funny moments, but yeah it isn't spectacular.
