From Dark Horse:In a prison world, there are few good stories, and this is the world of Kubikiri Asa, the beheader and master samurai under the Shogun. It's a world full of vengeance, greed, and violence. A world of depravity and sin. One man can set things straight if he can keep his wits. This is a story of extreme proportions, of sword study thick in tradition and with grim purpose, of blood rivers, agonizing screams, bondage, torture, and the evil prevalent in human failure. Drafted by the confirmed masters of the international medium of manga, Samurai Executioner is a shocking combination of darkness and fire, fine lines, and a fine man in the face of human decline. 2k2t6e

Not like good mangas like Vagabond or Kozure Ookami, this manga lacks what I think is the order! One page i read right to left while another page is left to right. But the art is pretty good and recommended to Seinen lovers and BLOODY mangas lovers!
I love it.
Only problem is the manga-sketchbook scans. They [or who they got it from] decided to flip the images so it reads left to right. Samurai Executioner being a manga about samurai and that time period, this puts all the swords on the wrong side of the hip, the stances backwards, and the originally intended image flipped. Personally I'm quite against flipping the images, unless they don't interrupt the reading (they did Akira well--right-to-left too).
Also, in one of the chapters (ch28; facing the dew) at least 3 or 4 pages are left in the original right-to-left orientation, throwing off sequence of frames. Picky stuff, but it's too good a manga to be muddled by careless crap like that (mess up dbz or the likes all you want).
