This manga is pretty bad compared to anime.
The anime version, on the other hand, is a masterpiece that always manage to make me fall in love over and over again with each episode. It gets pretty tragic at some parts, and had me bawling my eyes out for like half an hour. It really made me connect with the characters.
Usually, I'm not a fan of robots and what not, but I had to make an exception for this one because the anime was so good. Also, I recently realized that this manga has its roots in history. The britannia empire is obviously based on the actual British Empire during imperialist eras, when Great Britain went around colonizing people around the world. United States was also related to this.
But yeah, the anime is pretty amazing.

Well, I didn't actually read the manga but I'm telling you, the anime's incredible!! I was hooked since the first episode and even though I've watched it a long time ago, I still love it. All hail Lelouch!! <3
...because it doesn't keep up with the anime! If you have free time, watch the anime, you wont' regret it! This manga is not bad, but compared to the anime, it's really mediocre. It doesn't have strong points! While the anime... it's something really different.
The anime of this is way better than the manga. I love the anime of this and it's been my favorite ever since I finished season 2! The manga isn't that good itself and at first I didn't want to read it but later on I started watching the anime. I highly recommend watching the anime.

It is much better to watch the anime, I reading this manga and having a bad impression of the story and characters in general, I had found it boring and lacking something special, after a year of hearing how 'amazing' code geass is, I began to watch the anime which I'm still doing now, the anime gives you a completely different feel, I don't know what it is, but something about watching it rather than reading kept me hooked.
The anime of this is far superior in all aspects. The art makes them all seem far too young in my opinion and just the story telling doesn't do it justice. Might have liked it better if I hadn't seen the anime but this just fails to compare.
actually berial , this and the other is the same , only one follow lelouch [ like in the anime] and the other follow suzaku , its too see if u prefer which .. [i think]...[mostly]..
lol this would be just the SIDESTORY? and the main story is focused on Suzaku?? bah i just cant stand suzako's type of character (beside its cheap to win with such superior technology..^_^) luckily the anime and this "sidestory" focus on Lelouch (it would be boring otherwise)
