i think it was pretty good at the start,but got boring halfway through.someone in the comments mentioned FL is kinda boring/doormat and the ML is bratty(i agree)but it was okay.FL still didn't irritate me that much unlike some other FL's similar to this type of manhwa.i thought she had enough common sense ,so she didn't bother me.but as the story progressed she turned to a total mary sue seriously she was just boring,nice all the time,not that its a bad thing. normally i dont dislike nice & polite characters,not at all.but its a difficult type of character to write because you have to make them likeable.so this girl was irritating most of the time.she has courage,is comionate and good hearted, means well.but it just didnt make me care for her or crown prince...or anyone...and thats not good.
her back story seemed rushed and i dont think it was really necessary..i get that by giving her a sad backstory readers feels like "she finally got the happy ending she deserved,im so happy for her" etc. this is such a common theme but i feel like this wasnt done well(like many)its just there,so shes "justified" and deserving to have numerous good luck come her way like she got the crown prince,has a warm family,is rich and beautiful etc.sometimes it doesnt have to be a contest about who had it worst and just be an average person,especially since i feel like not much would change in the story(though it turns out they are destined lovers or something there is an after story about this..)again the plot is kind of lacking...there is a lot of side characters(and they all have the same personality😴) and they are important for the plot, whatever is happening at the moment, but because there is a lot of going on i feel like especially fml didn't developed much.but sadly because of this i cant really relate to her and the things she does,i just really think she was childish..like really...
and ML..he got really annoying.it was dumb how he worshipped the ground she walked on (just how much of a simp he is),i dont like charaters like that.i think that FL s character wouldnt be as much of an annoyance if the ML wasnt this much of a simp.the worst part is ,his simpness just overshadows his other characteristics.I dont understand why people liked this shit.it wasnt done well imo(is there even such a story where its done well?i think jealousy is fine,and actually important for the characters' chemistry/relationship, but not simping blindly..).i mean,again,he's just lustful,it didnt feel like genuine love.there was way too much objectifying the fml..i just realised that ML might be the one i hate the most.it gets kinda better later on as he is starting to develop "genuine" feelings for her(i wouldnt really call that genuine though),starting to care for her other than her beauty(actually did it?idk not much..?) but i still didnt like it,still seemed too shallow to me.she kept treating/speaking him like a kid because she thought he was just shy(even if she had her reasons it didnt seem logical..its pretty weird to act like that to a grown ass bulky man.i actually like this type of contrast between small-smol if you will- and big , but just not this..just..hell no..😓) ,and he just obeys her because she's pretty/he's horny?idk its stupid.i really hated this pair even though i actually really liked their designs.(fl is totally adorable with her parted hairstyle ,too bad she gets bangs later on and her eye shape is cute.and i really liked his long spiky red hair with yellow eyes combo, just really cool one of my favorites).
i mean i know many people likes this manhwa but it was pretty obvious it was a,i would say kind of a self insert manhwa for female audience(male lead is crazy and ridiculously in love with fml,his inner dialogue about how this one woman makes him act illogical etc etc.)but again it wasnt done well.like someone said below, its not meant to be taken seriously,still annoying though.🙄
BUT i didnt really liked any of the side characters either.yeah what suprise i wish there were good parts about this manwha that i could praise but alas🙁
dad was annoying AS HELL,blue haired brother was fine(when he wasnt getting angry because people just pisses him off for no reason.that humor wasnt funny imo,never is.)comedy was unnecessarily loud and annoying(the dad and the maid).GOD i really hate the maid.even if author explained at some point that 'at house ryu maids are treated like equals bla bla' i dont think it should be,theres a line between being equal and just screaming at your employers for no reason.ik its a manhwa and not real life hence it doesnt have to be realistic but if you add this part about 'every employee was treated equal at house ryu' (because audience sees that the maid acts overly familiar with her employers so author explains why that is the case)giving people the reason for her behavior, then make it realistic!!why the hell does the second brother just trembles in fear when she yells at him and just demands shit from him.i hate that that i look like a hater,especially towards female characters but its really disappointing that they keep writing these stereotypical bossy female characters who are only/generally nice towards other women(thankfully theres only gihae with this type of character in this manhwa.bad news is theres only 2 female characters who are important to the story and those are gihae and FL.....)even if the reason she is overprotective of FL is because she woke up from a 12 yr coma,there is other ways to show care to your mistress and you can be nice to other people at the same time...unless this character was supposed to be hated but thats not the case.we supposed to like her.its not funny to yell and be pissy all the the fcking time.i really hate gihae.i cant say shes like that ALL the time but MOST of the time she is.she's fcking loud we get it.it didnt make it better for me that author adresses her "energetic" or something personality trait (was it rahan? he mentions it)but shes just plain rude and immature sometimes,mostly.AND she was supposed to be 24 or 26 years old??
i dont think i would've minded her too much if she wasn't in, well,probably every fking chapter and didnt take too much screen time.

another thing that disturbed me which is a very common thing in manhwas/mangas that feels wrong to me is
in the extras they have children and the firstborn is a son.so the moment he is born he's possessive of his mother and hostile(?) towards his father.i dont have a fucking clue why this is so common in mangas.
i dont think this is normal,it shouldnt be in mangas and should just be erased from existince(i know it happens to some degree in real life,but this is just bs...and they were supposed to be "wholesome")he/she is your fucking parent/child why are you getting in a jealousy fight over your parent/spouse😕 its fucking gross.does people find this cute??like isn't it enough that there is already tons of people in love with the good looking mom/dad that you need to make their child in LOVE with that parent, in a way??getting in a psychological warfare with the other parent??iTS FUCKNG STUPIDDD ,WE GET IT EVERYONE ABSOLUTELY ADORES AND WORSHIPS THAT CHARACTER JUST LEAVE THEIR KIDS OUT OF THIS AUTHOR WTFFFF just make them have a wholesome relationship between father and son(and other kids)...why make the mom a desire object.i find it so disturbing because they just have this joyful atmosphere while they fight for her attention ,trying to keep her all to himself,like thats so unhealthy.and since crown prince is still an antisocial guy and only really wanna be around FL, i think it would be cute that he tries to bond with his kids..yk i would like to see this mentioned in mangas where moms/dads see this problem and tries to bring them together instead of staying a "desire object"/favorite parent...i dont know how i turned this shit into some kind of psychological analysis, but aaaanyways
sorry for the rant 😓 i dont know why i got this worked up over this manhwa even though it wasnt anything special, but i did for some reason.whatever, complaining is funnn~~ i may be exaggerating some parts.even though he's pretty much a manchild and doesnt want to share their mother with his children too much,he isnt too bad as a dad,he isnt the worst even tho this isnt really praiseworthy.i skipped too many chapters because it was cringy at times,but many things seemed to stay the same in the final chapter so...
i think art is fine tbh inconsistent but fine
edit:actually i didnt write enough about the father.i find it funny that people say they are such a doting, loving family to her.they just keep her in the dark too much in the earlier chapters(probably in later chapters too) she does too.and of course shit happens because of it.i keep forgetting this was supposed to be comedy,so i keep nitpicking this type of stuff because the comedy is nonexistent
