I keep trying to read this manga, but it just creeps me out. But its so intriguing. I'm so conflicted. 3z1cs
I really want to read it. Maybe its the shotacon aspect of it that turns me off. GAH.
Sorry, just had to say it somewhere.

To me the characters are intriguing i'v read a couple of vols i'm no shota fan but there really isn't much of it there to me besides a kiss are two i haven't seen anything else i still don't fully get the relationship between ritsuka and soubi but it accually doesn't seem to be romantic kinda makes you want to keep reading to find out 😀

I think it gives off more than just a shota vibe...
But the series is worth it. The plot stays interesting with twists, the characters develop, and as Ritsuka learns more it leads to even more questions that need answering. There is also a lot of internal conflict for the characters, in addition to conflict between each other.
I hate shota too, but this one is a rare exception (and so far, it has remained shounen-ai)

From the description this manga seems like somewhat of a battle-manga so I was wondering before i read, is the main character at least somewhat strong? Because I don't really feel like reading it if he's pathetically weak.

I also had a strange feeling when i started reading it. probably because i wasn't a fan of Yaoi/Shounen-ai at all. but when i watched the anime and as i hate cliffhangers a lot, i decided to read it and it completely blew me away. (and i rarely get blown away lol) the way Yun Kouga digs into depths of characters and brings up their true selves and wishes... it's strange, yet amazing.

[not sure if this can be counted as spoiler, but if it does, it's about the second or third chapter, so no big deal]
The main character is mentally and characteristically so strong (not physically). he decides on his own and is a very stubborn about it. he's not like some very sweet with a gentle heart characters who are literally of no use! and because LOVELESS is more about power of words than physical powers, basically everything depends on Ritsuka's words, he just has to decide something.
and i figured when he acts as Soubi's sacrifice, it doesn't lessen his strength at all (at least, so far) which it should, 'cause Soubi is Seimei's partner, not Ritsuka.
the Truth remains intact...
