I'm not too familiar with this forum so I'm not sure if I should be asking this here, but is there a reasons why Shonen Jump series that are on viz.com aren't linked with it on their pages? 306v1f

Like, as far as I'm aware Viz.com is the official publisher for most of English Shonen Jump and mirrors the exact same stuff that's on mangaupdates.sitesdebloques.biz. There are appropriate links to the series that they have like:

Spy x Family: https://www.viz.com/shonenjump/chapters/spy-x-family
One Piece: https://www.viz.com/shonenjump/chapters/one-piece
Jujutsu Kaisen: https://www.viz.com/shonenjump/chapters/jujutsu-kaisen

and so on. The same restrictions and need to purchase most series are the same as well I believe.

The only possible reasons why I think nobody's added it is because of redundant links (kinda stupid because I prefer the viz UI and different series have the same comics on different platforms linked), so attention isn't drawn to it so Viz doesn't shut down the redundant website or because nobody knows about it.

Any ideas or concrete reasons in the rules somwhere?

I assume it's that Viz is region-locked to North America, so those not in NA can't see it, while Manga Plus is available worldwide (though with some series restrictions).

For instance, I'm in Taiwan right now, so I can't see any series on Viz, but I can still access Jujutsu Kaisen isn't available on Viz or Manga Plus outside of NA, so there's no links to either of them in its description.

Huh, I'm not to sure about a North America region lock cause I'm accessing it in Australia. Also I stuffed up cause I FRICKED two of the links by adding an , and : ...I'll change that.

But if anybodies interested then check out "viz.com" to see if you have any luck seeing series there. Just click on shonen jump when you get there and you'll see a list of recently ed series. There's a "see all" button there as well too see the rest of them.
