It's hard to say, but it does look like it will be a least shoujo ai. Then again with how "mature" the manga is with just Chapter 1 it may very well turn out to be Yuri. But the only way to know for sure is to either wait for more chapters or go and find the raws to see.

Actually, I had that manga for a while on my (unscanlated) wish list, and I'm pretty sure it was tagged as Yuri the whole time. Maybe someone altered it? 🤨 The scanlator, perhaps, or someone who read the first chapter...

Well, IMO, if the main couple is homosexual, then it's a Shoujo-ai manga despite the hetero couples in the background. I actually appreciate the hetero couples, since that's how it's in real life, and not some magical world where only gays live in (see: countless of Yaoi & Yuri). 🤨

And yeah, I figured you'd be a huge fan of Maka-Maka which is why I mentioned it. o.o I liked it personally myself (despite -- or maybe, thanks? -- to the heavy smut, bwaha!). Lots of other people don't like it though. T.T

If you read Maka Maka for the sex, then yeah, it's rather good.

Uh, considering I am the guy who's doing the manga, I think I have a good opinion of what it is. There's more hetero than homo in it, and now that I think about it, I wouldn't even classify it as Shoujo AI. 🙄
