I doubt the anime missed any characterization. It was pretty good in that regard. Heck, the first few minutes of episode 23 or 24 were like the ending to any other anime. 4h5w
But I didn't like the whole taiga leaves thing. That doesn't make that much sense to me unless it was wholly to be with her family. But it half came off something else.
Ryuuji maybe came into liking taiga suddenly but its hard to tell how someone might act to knowing someone likes you. I know that you size a person up and see if you could be with them. So, while the transition wasn't done spectacularly, its not unbelievable.
But I find taiga's was very believable and natural.

seriously the ending of the anime was a little bit disappointing and like since it was taken by JC staff. (which they are fuckingly known for OPEN ENDINGS) helll i still want more of the series. Sigh and the author just finished the light novels.
so ima go after the novel to see if the ending that i imagine might be there... ^^
INKO rocks.. \o/

Well, the ending wasn't so bad.
Taiga shows up at the end of their graduation near the end of the episode 25 credits; and she surprises Ryuuji-who finally professes his love for her. Although, I would've like it if the pairing was an unexpected one this time.
On purpose without a purpose

Cliche endings turn out to be the worst. Something open ended like the one in the anime is a good way to close it off. It ends it without actually dragging it on for too long.

hi guys, there was this part about the anime that i dint quite understand. when ami first asked minori whether her feeling of guilt is gone, what did she mean? i watched the whole thing twice but i still don get it:/

Explained earlier in this topic (page 2)
(but easy to spot.. minori love both Taiga and Ryuuji, but she can't tell him that without hurting Taiga because she thought that she love him too. So after seeing the fight where Taiga explicitly show her love for Kitamura, she can love Ryuuji whitout hurting Taiga's feeling)

but after that she started acting wierd in front of ryuuji. is it because she started seeing him as someone she likes instead of just a friend?
