You know, at first I thought it would be one of those stories that I would just read for the art.But maaan, the plot is really intriguing! 5e6i1f
As a revamp story of 'Ayeshah's Secret', it's done such a tremendous job. The characters are much more fleshed out in AISHA and the story is better paced. I'm genuinely looking forward for more! ^^
It's published on Samsung's Bespoke Newsletter (bespoke is apparently some sort of refrigerator thingy??)
Titled "치즈인더트랩 신혼편" which translates to "Cheese in the Trap: Newlyweds" ^^
Yea it is for promoting Bespoke's stuff, but its still a (short-snippet) comic about their married life + cameos of fridges
also, it's not just about Jung and Seol's married life!
Cause while I was scurrying through...
I really can't describe it lmao, you just gotta read it to see how good it is!
I mean, there's:
- Strong, charismatic female lead (who is our protagonist ^^)
- Power couple pairings, although I'm definitely rooting for a certain dude in denial
- Fun and interesting dynamics/chemistries between each and every character, not only with FL
- A really fun and captivating story :]
etc...
go read it! I assure...
it's eff'd up, its so great lol
The art of the characters' expressions especially?? MWAH
used to give it a 9, as I was iffy about the emperor already having a wife, but it's revealed later on that the emperor and empress are platonic pals and are in a political marriage or something + the empress also has her own lover
There's something charming about it. I think it's the rare academic rival bantering, where both can hold their stances.
It's also the intelligent AND hardworking female protagonist.
My only grudge with this manga is its slow burn:
Seriously, there's a fucking sequel novel and they still haven't gotten togetherrrrr... Although, they have confessed... but come on dudeeee T^T
Also, unpopular...
