This series just cracked me out XD The protagonist! Her love interest! The highschool rival! Her enemies! I would have never guessed it was from Takaguchi Satomi's hands, when just looking at the art. She really made a hell of a job by copying the style of those shoujo-artists. (with their big eyes and innocent hearts ^^) 584o9
Thing is, sometimes I notice the suspicious acts of the suspects, but I can never deduct the tricks and the hows. Nevertheless I enjoy every chapter of this manga, though I wished there were less murders and more "innocent" mysteries, like a theft, or just a puzzle by the prof/teacher. I also ire the mangaka, who kept the same simple but nice artstyle throughout these long years.
Even before listening to the dramacd, I fairly enjoyed this work (it only multiplied after listening the cheesy lines by Suwabe-sensei). I agree that the maincouple isn't as interesting as the interaction of the side-characters, and seldom have I seen little brothers as cute as Noboru has. On a sidenote, I still can't get used to the ribbons of their school-uniform 😛 .
Overall, it's a fun read...
What can I say? I'm a sucker for childhoodfriends, and added with a kittenlike uke and doglike seme, I'm sold! Both of them are likable, and while every chapter can be read as a standalone, it's quite endearing to follow the two's struggles and lovey dovey life. Throw in some cute scenes and some ridiculous angst (that's solved almost immediately), and you have a thoroughly enjoyable manga. Maybe...
It doesn't surprise me that no scanlator has taken up this manga, despite the mangaka's popularity. It was just plain boring! I hope there will be sequels to make it more interesting, but until now, there was not a lot that caught my eye. I even forgot about the storyline!
