I can understand if FL fails a few times. I mean she was abused and murdered. I do not expect her to be a flawless schemer where everything goes her way after being reborn. No.
What I expected was for her to learn from her mistakes and trauma. To grow and become more confident. She. Does. Not. At all. In any point in this, and I'm on ch 76 already.
She can only GirlBoss and do Qween! shit around the women but NEVER, not once, against any of the men. And when it comes to the Mistress she couldn't even do that while that Mistress IS RUNNING WILD AROUND IN FL's OWN HOUSE.

Let me repeat: FL couldn't remove the Mistress and ex-hubby, who came out of nowhere, to kick down the locked door IN FL's own house.

Not once did she say this. Not once did she demand to know what the fuck these strangers are doing in her house.
She just sat there past the busted doors of an inner chamber, cowering in fear as another woman she's "trying to protect" is damn near catatonic in terror from the Mistress. This Mistress was going through FL's house looking for this woman as if the place belonged to her and not FL!

We're not going to even talk about how nasty ex-hubby destroys the house of a visiting MONARCH. WOW. If this is the official embassy then how the fuck do they not have any kind of soldiers or security? Not a single person to protect the inhabitants???
And guess who comes in to save the day? Again? Of course, it's the oh-so suave ML.
He says all the logical things that should have been FL's line if she bothered to rub two brain cells together. Like how ex-hubby and his Mistress are not just tresing on a foreign Emperor's house but they threatened the ill woman FL was "protecting".
It should never have gotten to the point where literal doors were being kicked in by outsiders.
That's not all, when Mistress tries to pull one of her "I'm so weak and pretty and naive! How could you do this to me!" acts FL still, after all of that has happened, does not put her in her place. ML, yet again, scoffs and says the things FL should have said.
The ML is an asshole, sure, but at this point I'd be too if this FL was who I had to work with. Although this fucker is not blameless either. He chose her, knowing she's timid and cowardly when push comes to shove. He tried to instill a backbone in her but ultimately failed. So this is as much his fault as it is this aggravating, idiot of an FL.
Still, he deserves a better co-conspirator than this FL.
For once I desperately want to write fanfic. This time I want to make that other woman FL was trying to protect the protagonist instead. She cannot be worse than FL is.
