One of the sweetest shoujos I've ever read. The romantic pacing is top notch and we get to see a lot of relationship milestones get discussed and actually happen with basically 0 drama. Even though the pacing is fairly fast for a shoujo romance, the chemistry between the leads feels organic and really emphasizes how much they mutually cherish one another.

I also love how we see well rounded development for the MC in non-romantic ways like making friends or stepping out of her comfort zone. Aoi starts off super shy and insecure but I really adore how she grows without significantly changing her introvert core and inner values. The writing is very thoughtful in subverting things like the new popular pretty girl's dynamic with our cast and make me root for everybody!

It's not done as of the writing of this comment, but with the final volume announcement I think Yoshinaga sensei is ending this one on a high note and at the perfect natural conclusion. This will definitely be one of the ones to reread and savor again in the future <3
