It's not very good. Betrayal/ revenge genre. The betrayers aren't logical, they're the kind that have no real substance and just betray on like page 2. There isn't even really a proper relationship between the characters established to be broken by the betrayal. You can't even look forward to revenge on them because it just seems so impersonal.
Also he gets his harem in one fell swoop by essentially wandering in the forest (completely unguided), throwing a pebble at a rock, revealing a door, randomly casting his resurrection, and waking the 100yr old demon lord and her followers who were below ground with no indication of presence at all. No burial signs or anything, just an empty room. Ok
I defo don't agree with both commenters on their scores but some critisisms are warrented. Like many betrayal series it's kinda convoluted how it all came together and also makes no sense (specially when your talking about someone with Lichts power) that it kinda pulls you out with it's absurdity.
I do agree with below that the whole section on ressurecting the girls is very rushed and underwhelming and yet what could have been stretched out and with us learning more and more on the people instead we get 2d cardboard cutouts.
Where I've read up too it's showcasing some insane power gaps that make no sense as to why the King would betray Licht like he did, the monsters are insanely powerful. Also all the fights feel empty like alot happens for the human to be defeated in 0.1sec when the monster character tries. It's all very surreal and frankly boring.
I'm mostly giving it a 5 at this time cause it's not offensively bad and it at least keeps everything steady although it really feels like I'm gonna end up giving it a 3 or 4/10 in the future as it's starting to look like in reality it wants to be a harem rom com using monster girls and everything else is not even secondary but tertiary. Also PS I'm getting tired of all these series where the humans are t he ben and the demons are actually the benevolent ones, give something more then basic please writers.
on this one the chapters are extremely short and lack any reasoning. I mean he randomly revives a bunch of girls that were dead for 100 years and they guard that dungeon/live in it with 0 explanations. The dungeon is fomous and lots of people have died in it ,how did he resurrect them?... Where has all the furniture come from?. Why didn't they just imprison the MC(it's a world where RPG professions/necromancers exist everyone going random extra skills including resurrection)?
I mean I'm ok with introducing characters slowly after the beginning of starting as if the reader already knew them all but the story hasn't even been properly set and they've already introduced way too many inconsistencies and cliches with 0 story.
