My biggest annoyance with any completed work is fucking up the end......a rushed end can still work, an epilogue can give closure and they can still give an indication how things will turn out. This was a decent build up to something then insert thanos clicking fingers but no sequel or epilogue, even the investigation kinda gets blown over so really disappointing as I'd rate it higher. It's like an epic adventure to defeat the demon lord but it ends at them entering his lair.....
I really liked this webtoon, but am very disappointed about the ending. It feels like a two-arc story with the second one missing. Or like a manga that needs its sequel, except there is no sequel.
Seriously, Mr Cha merely meets Hye-Ri accidentially and in drag, Hye-Ri suggests meeting sometime and that's it? What about the fact that Mr Cha obviously has feelings for her but she doesn't know he's actually male? Now if there were a sequel about the two (and possibly Miss Ji and Mr. Shin), all of my complaints would be void (unless that one pulled a similar one).
With an ending that actually tied up the most important loose ends or even all of them, I'd probably have given it something between 8.7 and 9.1 (a 10 is rather difficult to reach with me).
As you can see from the multiple one star ratings that this series kind of dropped the ball at the end with what felt like the most rushed endings I have ever read.
NOW! If you can get past that and you want a funny and cute story, this is your bag right here. The story itself is kind of short and it's cute as it would have been better as a SoL but give it a check if a gender-bender comedy is your shtick.
I don't know what's up with the multiple 1 ratings. This is a very good webtoon. It's funny with the right amount of drama and suspense. The art style is pleasant and adds to the comedy where it's appropriate. Check it out, especially if you enjoy gender bender.
