This story is adorable. It's wholesome, heartwarming and so sweet! There were no like big complications and as I said, the main characters are just so cute together. It was a fluffy romance, but kinda rushed in the end. And there weren't even any kiss scenes at all 😭😭 so don't read this if you are looking for that. Anyways, it was a good read and I recommend this.
So, it was cute and going at a good pace riiiiight up until the handshake event.
Then for some reason it went WAY too fast.
Things with Alyx got absolutely crammed in, then all the characters showed up for the most hurried confession scene ever, then they decided to throw all the relatives in at once for a few chapters.
You get a couple explanation of Rains trauma even though it's been a huge theme throughout. More drama is introduced with the "demolition of yarn street" that doesn't even get solved.
It shows none of the progress between Rain and Teddy AT ALL at the end. I knew there'd probably be no big sex scenes since it's shounen ai but it didn't even show a kiss after aaaaaaall that.
And it's implied that they're engaged? Maybe? And rain is living with him? But also has his own apartment?
Essentially it seems like the author have up on their project once the handshake event happened and just hurried to finish it.
That or they had been told to keep it to 67chps and realised they weren't going to finish in time way too late so they just threw in what they could.
So it was cute but the disappointing end really lowered its overall appeal.
