woah, i love this, i love everything about this, about theme like highschool in hokaido that full of ice, is very refreshing, character relationship growth is very realistic to me, and the sorrow the fluffiness i love it all

It's far above the average, basically because of the strong plot. The story takes place at the countryside - it's kinda refreshing. Our main characters are high-schoolers (most of the time) but the action isn't going on only at school and I really like that. The plot is very good, a lot is going on between characters and also in their lives. They have many different friends and lovers, they grow up and change themselves. They're likeable and funny. The whole thing is real life-like, you have a feeling that they could be real. Maybe because they aren't perfect, they hesitate, sometimes they act unreasonably, maybe because their lives aren't free from worries, sorrow and mishaps. The ing characters were also well created, they appear often, they aren't just a barely visible part of background. Some of them you'll like, some you'll hate from the bottom of your heart.

The art is very pretty and characteristic. Big eyes, long eyelashes, slim bodies - just wonderful.
It's not the first work of this mangaka that I read and I have to it that KUMOTA Haruko has a wonderful ability to make all her stories realistic and believable. I love and I really appreciate it. I hope I'll be able to read the continuation - Itoshi no Nekokke.

If I had to complain - Kei-chan's hesitation were bugging me a little but that's all. It's definitely worth to read, just it's angsty in a way, not that cute&simple&sweet as it looks. You better relax and take your time to read it properly. Enjoy!

I reading one of the Kumata Haruko's short stories in Dame BL and thinking that I loved the art and the phasing of the story.

Reading this was no exception. I really liked the art, the characters, the story and the overall feeling of the plot-setting. However, one thing that I thought should be a biiiit better was

the ending .

No worries though, the sequel makes up for that aplenty.

when i read itoshi no nekokke i liked it, but i always think that their past will be most interesting and man, i wasn't wrong xd i really like this one, the plot is focuses in the development of their relationship and not in a sexual way (perhaps because we already know how this is gonna end, but if you haven't read the sequel it still good), and i love the hokkaido sceneries surrounded by snow. Really good and highly recommended c:
