Ugly art, boring story, insufferable characters, and unfunny jokes

You can see countless people praising this title for its "comedy". I disagree, most of the jokes are extremely unfunny and infantile, at least to me.
The protagonist herself isn't bad, but her brother is truly insufferable, and the plot is boring at best. I got to chapter 77 and just decided that I'm too uninterested to continue. The fact that the art looks the way it does doesn't help.
You can call the art style "unique" all you want, if I start drawing with my left hand and my eyes closed the art will also turn out unique, but I don't think anyone would want to buy it.
Want to read something better, with a unique art style that actually looks good, and with actually funny jokes? I recommend For Better or for Worse.

Comedy gold even though subpar art and development

If this was any other manhwa, I would have dropped. The story and love development are both so slow (took over 100 episodes) and the art is in last among all the manhwas I've read. But the dialogues completely carry it, and I keep looking forward to new chapters

It's a question of humor

What this series boils down to, is comedy. Some like it, some don't, and the only way to find out if the jokes are your cup of tea is to try it.

If you came looking for plot, turn away fast, as it's at best so-so. The setting for the plot has some potential, but it's never truly utilised.

However, if you're looking for a lighthearted read filled with laughter, this is it.

I was a little unsure of this one based on the reviews, with a lot of people saying it was funny but then a score of people saying it was meh.

Well, after reading this I am firmly in the "this is hilarious" group of people! Almost every chapter had me laughing out loud. The art really makes everything all the more funny, and while the pacing is closer to slice of life in the "we'll just deal with things as they happen" way rather than anything driving the story forward, that's fine by me. I'm a fan of romance, and for the main appeal being comedy this also has a romance I'm thoroughly happy squealing over too - I'm a big fan of slow romances where the woman's treasured and adored by the male lead and this certainly applies to this story. The female lead is independent and all about ing herself and the male lead respects her and her wishes and that goes such a long way too.

The art's not drop-dead gorgeous but it's still really good in my opinion and all of the comedic scenes are also drawn really well so I'm happy with the art. The little brother toes the line of being too annoying at times, but overall it's balanced out by the hints that show he really cares about his sister, and also the funny scenes of them just squabbling.

Definitely give this one a shot, at least! I think it'll be pretty easy to tell if the humor's for you or not after the first couple chapters.

At first , I didn't like the art so I dropped it but then , I came back out of curiosity since i saw the other reviews here and I was glad I did.Despite the arc that is quite average compared to other isekai webtoons I read, the story is quite hilarious and different from other isekais.For me this is the first time i was able to tolerate such bad art, all thanks to the storyline

The original premise of this isekai manhwa was strong: the sister of the author of the original story (compared to just a fan or someone who played the otome game) had previously advised the author and changed the outcome, so when she is reincarnated she brings that knowledge in and tries to change her fate. The first few chapters are hilarious. The cartoon faces are drawn in an art style different from the other manhwa and allows for comedic moments in the medium that I haven't seen before. Her approach to problem solving of trying to bed the nondescript second male lead showed an aggressive approach to problem-solving rather than meandering around.

However, the strengths fall away pretty quickly. The former life is quickly forgotten about and the story is played straight: an overreacting, quirky female lead who's beautiful and has a Unique Talent (in her case, forging weapons) that gains the respect of the male soldiers, and the progress that she makes in the plot (such as becoming the advisor to the knights, and having a few verbal "battles" between the female rival) aren't so much done with her own ability any longer but more with the Male Lead's help.

Like other reviewers have pointed out, it's very slow paced. I picked it up just as Season 2 started so I was able to binge Season 1 and see the development, but I can foresee myself dropping this as I read on a weekly basis. I don't have too much of an attachment to the main characters--I hope their romance goes well because I'm a sucker for a love story, but I find Alicia's inability to communicate frustrating. The side characters are all just tropes. There's not really any that are sweet or funny in their own right. The King is a typical tsundere for his sister and has only one flash of nobility or talent that was demonstrated at the end of Season 1

(when he protects Alicia from being expelled from the palace because she was influencing his education) but that came too little, too late. This king was already an idiot in my mind.

Season 2 picks up with the proposal from Ares to Alicia, which he made at the end of Season 1 because the author inserted this contrived rule that the advisor of education to the king had to have served the king for 7 generations. That's another disappointment--why not fight to change the rules? Why not explore the fact that the supposedly all-powerful king is still subject to the law? And if the law is supreme why do the nobles disregard it so casually? There are other interesting avenues there but the author again chooses to stick to the romance, I think at the expense of characterization and development.

I liked how the FL is somewhat smart, a bit funny in interacting with her brother, and is cunning enough not to be a doormat, BUT other than that it's just not my cup of tea I guess? By ch34 I realized just how bored I am of reading it and I really don't care about any of the characters. I don't feel anything at all when the OTP is on screen together. I had to drop the series because it's starting to become a chore just to continue reading which is sad because I usually push through for romcom isekais.

Plot is decent, but the pacing and storytelling are all over the place. I don't like how it portrays the comedy. Seriously, why constantly change artstyles for the comedic bits? Just comes off as lazy to me. Usually I don't care about it but it's changing artstyles every two s. The humor in this is so awfully lame, but I'm probably just biased because I don't laugh at 90% of comedy anyways. If it had a more serious tone I'd probably dig it.
