You might add Romance to the genres, except anyone coming to this manga for a typical, or even atypical, romance will be sorely disappointed. You can identify romantic elements, but there's so much in the way of that romance (and nothing nearly so trite as "rivals") that it stays pretty much in the background and the manga becomes more about the problem(s) than the potential romance.
It's not exactly a "pleasant" read (i.e., somewhat of a roller coaster if you invest any emotion in it), but it is interesting if you don't mind the fact that it's, shall we say, off the beaten path. It's far from the worst manga you could find...which isn't to say it's bad at all, but it may not be your cup of tea.
