I wanted to complain about the art style, but shamefully I think it's growing on me by the end. Objectively, though... the yaoi hands alone... The dialog is also quite weak in places -- I don't know if it's just the scanlation, but there were some serious moments early on where it was so weird I literally laughed out loud.
I like jerks & all associated tropes ('s why I'm here bruh), but the plot was a wash.?♂️ The meet cute just wasn't very cute... I feel like they could have put more feeling into the first few chapters or alternatively had the romance start as a casual fling & build up to something more serious and either way the result would've been better. Instead the story took this odd in between route... It did become ok later on, but still. Weak.
I did enjoy this -- the classic "oh my god he's so hot but such a jerk" dynamic is not bad?? despite the lack of good build up, although in this case it's played as a bit of a misunderstanding, and there were some good dialog bits in there. In the end it was satisfying enough for what it is. Ymmv.
Typical jerk seme doesn't give off any sign of liking uke except having sex with him and is pissed uke doesn't understand his tender heart and frigile feelings. Typical spineless uke despite all of the wrongs he put up with manages to convince himself they're all signs of love. Happy end.
The art is terrible, mangaka clearly has no idea about anatomy.
