Description

Very nice artwork. Except for the proportions. And the hands. I'll have nightmares of those goddang hands 🤢 I really enjoyed the beginning of the story and really felt for the protagonist. It made sense that she doesn't really think logically since she is a tiny child. However after the timeskip... God help me. I started to hate her after chapter 70 or so. The constant wallowing in self pity when ANOTHER person is suffering is just sending me into orbit.

The scene with her crying and distancing herself from the crown prince because she feels guilty when she should actually talk to him and be there for him. 😶 She just comes off like a spoiled brat. Which I could have accepted if her age wasn't so ambiguous. One second she seems like a 17 year old and the next she seems 12.

Everything about this feels stiff and unnatural, from the art to the storyline. All character interactions are like bad actors following a bad script. Also, many character decisions are baffling, like how

MC's mother kept trusting the brother of her lover even though he kept yelling at her to marry him . Or when ! MC's father let MC stew in anxiety because he somehow found it too painful to explain to MC that he didn't look for her and her mother the last 8 years because he was literally crazy for 6 of those years and after that his brother had intercepted the letters he sent. Also, he held off on explaining (for no reason except anxiety, I guess?) that his marriage to another lady was contractual and he only ever loved MC's mom . The MC herself is... pathetic, to be honest. Like someone else said, she was raised this way by both her mother and the evil incel guy, but it's just not fun to read about. She also ! wanders off and gets lost in a garden despite insisting that she wouldn't wander off... yeah, she's not smart. I stopped reading at chapter 45. Maybe it gets better, but with how bland all the characters are and the forced interactions with the future ML, I highly doubt it.

She's the main character and author doesn't want us to forget that...I guess. Even when the events happened long before she was born and argh, that bullshit between the Imperial Family and her dad + her reaction when ML is telling her is pure nonsense on her part.

I want to say she's aggravating to read but...well, she has to make everything about herself, and make it look as melodramatic as possible, because that's the way she's written. This author doesn't seem to trust their target audience's emotional intelligence.

I don’t really understand why people are saying that fl is ‘dumb’. Yes, i agree that she is weak as the protagonist but I think it is quite understandable

In her first life, she was groomed, locked inside the house with no exposure to whatever was going outside when she was 8. When she was 16 and was about to be married off to that asshole, she decided to off herself. However, somehow she traveled back in time. She had no clue what was coming to her, so the first thing she did was to tell her mother what happened. This is perfectly understandable. However, it was the mother who did not believe in her

What was she supposed to do?? And like how are people expecting her to pull some badass shit when she doesn’t even know what to do. In short, its not possible to expect her to be manipulative and scheming when she spent half of her life locked away. Even if it were, give her some slack for at least trying to prevent past events from happening

I’m not really sure what to say about the dad though. I dont like him but at the same time I’m fine with him. Idk

So far, i dont think its that bad. Sometimes frustrating though. If you dont like weak characters maybe check out other father daughter Manhwas

I give it a low rating despite the nice art work, because the characters are very frustrating. I've only read until ch 40. Compared to works of the same genre where the MC also gets a do over, the MC here has a weak character and cant even take control of her life until the last minute, despite knowing the future. Maybe it's just me, but i prefer a stronger female character.
