If it hadn't been for the marital rapes, it might have been a good read.
To start off, y'all should be aware that there are multiple scenes where r*pe takes place. And unfortunately, one of them involves the ML as the ab... Yeah.
I just can't. The MC is written to be smart but certainly doesn't act like it. ML is overbearing. Everyone just makes wild assumptions all the time and communication is non-existent. I know it's for the point of the plot and humor, but I just find it annoying.
The art was good, I couldn't see a real plot. I was so happy, but unfortunately everything was inadequate and too unrealistic. The author chose a really good century, but nobles and commoners didn't behave like that during that time. An orphaned citizen who just comes across as arrogant, conceited and stubborn. At first it was humorous but then it just became annoying and infuriating. Then trust issues and misunderstandings followed. For me it lacked any depth so I couldn't identify with the characters. It is definitely a work that I will not read twice.
