The characterization was amazing and their development was interesting to follow. Taeoh was probably the most compelling character given his growth.

One of the best reads I have read. This is one of the series that I wish could be more popular than how it is. The title lives up to its name, from the flow of the story to its ending.

The first thing that people may discourage to read this is if there's a BL element in it. No. this isn't BL. I read this in one sitting and looking this at a whole, I can't see their relationship in that kind of light. Especially after the story even defined what the character's definition of "like" is.

The story revolves around four characters and I believed that they are written well.

Jaeha is shown to be the perfect, pure and loving character, he somehow truly is... but still is a character capable of doing questionable actions. Yeseob is a character born from abuse and trauma. He is a character that needed help, got help but the person who gave him help needed help themselves aswell. Taeoh's arc is amazing for me, everything that makes him needed in the story is shown. His motivation, attempt of redemption, conclusion and retribution. He may not be the most abused character in the raster but he'll be character that will suffer the most. Yura's character arc felt unfinished. She found solace from meeting Jaeha but after everything... made me wonder of "what now for her?".

The ending is

like a game's bad end. The ending is so depressing that I wanted to see a different one and yet, the ending felt that it makes sense. I've read the ending multiple times, pestered me during work whenever I think of it. In the end, it is the story's uncomfortable truth that it is its conclusion. Still, I was hoping that I'll see fanfic that would make this hole a bit better. sadly there is none...

I've read this when i still in hs few years ago, and damn that need tag Hurt not comfort here lol.. and tbh i doesn't think i wanna to reread this again, unless i in the mood to be depressed lol

I started reading because I thought this was BL, I was not prepared for psychological drama like this. I was not disappointed is wasn't focused more on BL, It was better than I expected, a great read. 10/10 would read again someday. Anyone who is not familiar with psychological genre should stay as far away from this as possible. You might not like what you see.

Story's decent. Give it a read, but the description is misleading.

It's an angst +drama + tragedy story in a teenage school life setting. There is no mystery, and there isn't a lot of suspense. The plot is pretty cut and dried from the get go. But you're there for the ride, and it's pretty good (and sad).

I think one of the shining points in the series are the side characters. Jaeha, Yura, and Taeoh are great, multi-dimensional characters. I especially like Yura and Taeoh because they've both done sh*tty things, but they're not always bad, and they're not always good, and they learn along the way. Taeoh's story is very well done. I really appreciate these two characters.

On the other hand, when you first read this series, you expect Yoseob to be a focal point. It's unfortunate, but the series doesn't dig very deep into Yoseob. We don't give his POV very often, but even when we do have his POV, I think the author struggled with presenting Yoseob to the audience.

Overall, this story isn't very refined. It reads like an author's first few works, but I still enjoyed it.

Shallow story, misleading description.

I started reading this manwha because of the description, which gave me a sense of thriller, drama, and tragedy. And while it is not entirely false, I was definitely misled into thinking that it was all but anything else. Here is what I have to say:

The plot had potential to be great if it had focused mostly on Jaeha and Yoseob's relationship. Most of the story that should have been about the two brothers (which the description emphasized on) was left in the back burner. It would have been much stronger if the readers have first-hand experience living through their childhood instead just as a story that was told as a rumor or as a backstory. It felt like I was tricked into reading a very typical shouja manga with typical themes of bully, social exclusion, and finding love and comfort. The genre of "tragedy & seinen" had been diluted with typical school life drama and cute chibis, almost making those genres seemed unimportant. S/he tried to give a shojo-manga humor to this read and it just isn't working. I was reading two different back-ended manwha which, somehow, the mangaka made a mess out of because s/he didn't carefully thought out the plot. The mangaka wanted to focus more on school life of other different characters, who the mangaka figures, "Now lets tie them in with the two MCs so that it'll bulk up the quantity of chapters."

If Yura's backstory and current predicament was its own manwha, that would have been something I wanted to read because she's a selfish person with potential to have great character build if she became a considerate person. However, it became entirely unnecessary because it had nothing to do with the whole of this story AND it took a good portion of the story. Then once her story is done, she just became a side-thought for the rest of the manwha. All in all, she was Yoseob's victim for hovering over Jaeha; she doesn't even have a strong relationship with any of the characters but for some reason, the mangaka felt that it was important to emphasize on her life that had always been distant from the brothers. On the other hand, Taeoh had a good role. It felt like he was the middleman, a character whom everyone can lean on. He had a good and rich backstory which contributed further to how the brothers came to be. He had flaws and poor judgment like a relatable and human would be, and he eventually owned up to the mistakes, which makes him even more lovable. He is a solid and mentally-strong/wavering person, basically the rock of the entire story.

The climax for the story was weak. The mangaka did not want to push boundaries of tragedy, and ends up keeping all of the "tragedy" in the characters' past. It's like s/he knew some elements of what makes a thriller but used only the bare minimum to create a sappy school life with some sh!tty tragic read. So now it just looks like a crazy schoolgirl with a knife in her hands. Wasn't the greatest read. I would NOT recommend this for people looking for genuine and unique Seinen/Tragedy reads.
