1 Volume (Complete)

This manga left me broken. I can't name the last time a manga made me cry as much as this one did.
This is a good manga, very much for animal lovers especially if you're a dog owner. I don't have a dog, but I have bunnies and I can say that I felt the same way as the main protagonists when my first bunny died because of diarrhea and she was staring at me when she huffed her last breath as if telling me that, that will be the last time we get to see each other. Mind you, I cried until I slept as I carry and bury her body late at night. It was so painful to see your favorite pet die in front of you. But I have another bunny now. (Taking her with extra care!)
Anyway, about this manga...I love the plot but I feel that the female protagonist is not developing at all. She's still the same, just like when she's a kid, acting all selfishly and doesn't even bother about the people around her, and yet she claims that she's lonely. It's a no wonder! I feel sorry for Hiro when she speaks to him so rudely! Gosh. It only seems like as if Eye is the only one that's developing. But anyway, it's a good read. Not something I'll re-read, 'cause I might end up crying again. This manga is pretty similar to Deep Love - Pao no Monogatari. It's about dogs too, and how the main doggy go through all the obstacles. Ahhh...Pao's story is much more tragic. Oh gawd. I don't wanna say anymore! T_T

It did make me tear up... it was a little unfair, because it was like a sad, happy, super happy, sad, happy... etc... cycle, so I was like yes! Nooo... yes! Haha. It was completely adorable. I don't feel like the romantic subplot was out of place, it was nice, and more of an afterthought you knew was happening, but was not the main focus. All in all, a good read. It was a little strange to me how human-like they treated Eye towards the end, but that may be because I am not a huge dog person.
This was also good insight into blind dogs, and how helpful they are. It was certainly melodramatic, but had heart.
...one of the greatest manga I read in the last two month. ..I really like dogs and the story was really enjoyable ^^...but I didn't know I was capable of crying for 20 minutes..in one goXD...if you don't want to cry...don't read this one...
If you love animals and want something really great to read..then this one is the right choice

Certainly a heck of a lot better than the garbage I've been reading recently.
I felt that the first chapter was the best overall, but the second and third aren't bad by any means. This is mainly due to what would seem like the climax, the dog and the girl separating, occurring in the first chapter, and the latter two seem like more of a followup. Of course the melodrama is what this manga is all about, but the plot didn't exactly throw me for a loop. But at the end I still said dawww, so the author's goal is achieved.
Awesome dog is Awesome.

Art (10%): 7
The art is average but not bad.
Story (40%): 10
Heartwarming story about a relationship between a girl and a dog. The story itself isn't complicated in any way but it is defiantly interesting. It gives a realistic view of a girl raising a seeing eye dog and the importance of a seeing eye dog. I love how emotional story made me feel and I recommend this to everyone.
Character (40%): 9
The heroine develops as a character with help from her dog. We see her becoming more outgoing in the beginning of the story with help from the dog and later growing more mature in the future with the dog's help again (it will make more sense if you actually read the story). Although the characters do develop, none of the characters (other than the dog) is really remarkable.
Enjoyment (10%): 10
This part doesn't really need a comment, I just enjoyed reading the story.
Total Score: 8.9

Another great work by Miyauchi-sensei. Looking at the differences between her works is amazing, if you didn't know it would be like another person had drawn it. At first, I had the thought that this story wasn't really a tragedy, because the first two installations were fairly dramatic, but no more than any other manga when it wants or needs to be. It made me cry, sure, but in the last installation, the third chapter, I felt sad like can't even cry sad, just a lump was present in my chest on some of the saddest parts. So, basically, I'm saying that this series can be defined as a tragedy, because it is overwhelmingly sad sometimes, but still incredibly beautiful. Though I have tear tracks running down my cheeks as I write this, the ending (which made me cry) was beautiful. This is another remarkable work by Saya-sensei. Doggies <3

It's absolutely beautiful... There are arguments between some of the characters, but you understand both sides. It really pulls you. And when Eye is dying, you start crying your eyes out. Why are all the dogs who die yellow labs 😕 (I cried at Marley too)
I love this. Only, I doubt I can read it again. Because I'll end up crying again 😛
This is perfect if you love animals, especially dogs.
Words fail me. Just go read it and you'll see.
