I would like to start with Cinderella plot-like story It's kinda like that and a damsel in distress was saved by a "knight". Still looking forward to it though since the story is still starting and I've just read until ch. 40 so just give it a benefit of the doubt.
I don't think I read the same thing as the other commenter, though the name does seem to reflect the comment quite well.
The FL gets cheated on, doesn't do the cheating. The ML could be described as a simp, because he saved a random women he didn't know from drowning herself, which is a bit of a stretch in my opinion.
Imo the story is decent, the reasons for things match up pretty well, there's no glaring potholes but it's early days, only up to chapter 21 is available.
Tldr: it's solid with good foundations and some reasonably well thought out drama
