Natsume is having a bad day; he has just lost a major deal to a rival company. To make matters worst, he runs into his ex-colleague and finds out that he is the one who stole his deal from him.

Touji flies into a rage when he finds out that Ryouji, Natsume's cousin/boss, is going to visit his place.

Like the reviewer before me pointed out, the characters have interesting personalities. It's a pretty balanced relationship and they each have their own life. They're not overly lovey dovey but they get along well and are sensitive to each others needs when one is upset. It's quite a sweet relationship. The art is pretty good too!

Really. I mean it has supposed to be the usual yaoi, with salaryman and stuff, you know - good for a quick read, with not half bad art. Actually it's not. If you look closer it has psychological strike and I've never seen sth like this before. There's Stockholm syndrome all over the story (rarely you can find yaoi with this motive) BUT this time there's no violence, no rape, no smut. I was surprised. The personality of seme is twisted and messed up but in the same time he's kind and obedient. The whole relationship is weird and the main character is fully aware of it, also uke isn't dumb, he's a wise man, in reality he didn't fall in love with his stalker, he's on guard all the time. I liked that. I mean who would easily fall in love with his torturer? No one. In yaoi manga it's common to fall for the rapist but not here. Finally the story where rape doesn't mean love. By the way there's even no rape (!) Very unusual. In short - the story was nicely developed. The art is better than on the cover and there's hot sex inside. As for the end - there's continuation of this manga, I'll read it for sure. Although it's not my favourite yaoi I do like it and surely it's memorable and unique. Good job sensei.

It's worth to read. At least for it's uniqueness 😉

This story was unusual from sensei, but i found that i liked it better than some of her other works. While i didn't like the first encounter between Touji and Natsume, i thought Touji's personality was really refreshing and disturbingly hot?LOL
That scene between him Touji and Souja was endearing to my Sadistic heart!

I read somewhere (god only knows where it was that I came across this) that June is no longer liscensing it. So I checked out the website and I couldn't find anything on it at all. Maybe their still liscensing it, I don't know. If someone knows where I can find a copy of this english, japanese either one, I'd appreciate it if you sould post a comment.

The story line is quirky, straightforward and easy to read. There isn't much memory-holding power to it, but it was an enjoyable, fresh volume. Fujiyama-sensei's art layouts are always very intense with emotion! She's also superb at grasping intimate moments and delivering them with sexy slowness.

Edit: I just finished the sequel; it really adds a dynamic and critical depth to this first volume. Read as a whole, the experience goes up monumentally in depth for their relationship deepening and the characterization become more memorable.

Oh my... I honestly enjoyed reading about the relationship between these 2 characters.

Touji's weird obsession with Natsume and that persistent feeling throughout the story that although he's very compliant to Natsume's will (well, after that 1st incident), a dangerous temper lurks just underneath the surface... I found them strangely appealing and the story fascinating.

I only wish the story was a few volumes longer (I wanted to see more of Touji's obsessive behavior, LOL), but I guess I'll just have make do with the 2 oneshots that serve as mini-sequels.

I absolutely adore the relationship between the two characters, Touji and Natsume. I can't believe it got liscenced. When it did it broke my heart. I love Fujiyama-sensei's works. Amazing art and ultra cute stories. I was really looking forward to reading the rest of this series. I would love to order the book but am currently in the position where I am unable to. I would recommend this to anyone though. It would be amazing if I could buy this.

Not the kinky story you might think it is.
As always there is always an inner struggle in the mind of a characater in Fujiyama sensei's manga. Love ithis. Hiighly recommended.

I started reading this story when the second chapter was released. After getting hooked and finally being given a third chapter -- ...it got licensed. (It broke my heart. Not only did I wait forever for them to translate it, but all the places I ordered a copy from never GOT it. CHE!)

The original, japanese version of the book now rests proudly on my manga-collection bookshelf, and I can honestly say I've read it QUITE A FEW times. XD The way that Touji-kun things is strangely refreshing, and with time, Natsume-san came to think that way as well.

After reading this, you have to read the extra oneshot, Akutai wa Raihousha ni Yurumaru. It made me giggle a little. Now I need to find out what book that was released IN..... 🙁

[ETA 2011-01-07] though the license is no longer valid, since this was a biblos title acquired by libre, and they do NOT honour biblos licenses; all of them have to be relicensed. and as far as i can tell from official comments on DMP's website, that hasn't happened, and they have in fact not even decided yet whether they will try to do so. we should probably take the licensing info off this.

i like fujiyama hyouta in general, but this work in specific because of the interaction between the characters. touji is a brat, but he cares, and he's not that scary for a stalker, and natsume is really torn between his comfortable, safe, boring life and this fascinating, weird, and a little scary person who's intruded in it. best line, the one that stops a potential rape: "you realize this isn't consensual, don't you". woops. touji realizes, and he stops. the later follow-up to that line is great. 🙂

upon re-reading a few years later, i am no longer quite as content with stalker boy and his initial sexual assault. but it's still not a bad story, and for once it takes its time before the guy who was assaulted comes around, and it acknowledges that taking somebody by force is wrong, so, yeah, within the parameters of yaoiland this is still a cut above.
