42 Chapters (Cancelled)

every chinese light novel/ web novel adaptation has some changes, (usually they're made lighter and kid-friendly) but this is changed so much that its basically a different story with same-name characters.
even the very beginning, where our shameless NEET MC gets kicked into another dimension by an angry martial expert, is changed so he's a bada** fighting hs student who gets sucked into another world for unexplained reasons.
it goes downhill from there.
i read about 60 chapters hoping it would get better but it never does.
this is one of the worst adaptations i've seen yet.
Ive seen a lot of poorly done novel adaptations but this one is just insulting. The original story is tossed in the trash from the fist page. What was once a great if somewhat dark action comedy was turned into shonen cliche garbage. The art barely es, the story is rushed and boring, the characters are flat, and the translation is awkward. This is crap. Read the novel. Ignore the manga.
