Reality isn't a shoujo manga, and Miku Ikenouchi's friends know that perfectly well. But then again, they are not Miku-chan. The reason for this is that Miku-chan has a boyfriend, a third year, and is content with what she has. But then a chain of events occur which leaves Miku-chan with a rival (for cuteness), her father quitting his job... and a new roommate? 3k3k5a
7 Volumes (Complete)

Sorry but it really was very dull and boring, I found the girl borderline selfish who has some serious issues, she was jealous of another girls happiness almost and selfishly wanted it for herself. I have no idea how the love became mutual the ending was so rushed that I still don't totally understand. I reckon a manga on the lead males actual girlfriend would have been a hell of a lot more interesting, if we had seen all this happen from her perspective it probably wouldn't have been half as dull and boring. A real shame because senpai to kanojo was really cute and lovely. This one just left me feeling slightly bitter and it wasn't a short manga it was a long old slog I want those hours back to be honest. The arts cute I suppose if your really desperate then read it but I personally didn't like it.
HAHA umm this manga was cute but cmon.. it had so much potential but the ending seemed so rushed and some "wtf" moments especially with Miyu near the end.. that was pretty lame and random. over all, love the art, story coulda been great and it was alright
it's just.. okay but forgettable.. it could've been better and yeah Miku kind of annoyed me too >~<
well at least it's got a happy ending.
also, I find it a bit slow, love the drawing though & if you don't have anything else to read, then this should be fine.

..overall I quite like this manga. I hate Miku because she is the type of girl that I hate the most in the real life, lusting for another girl's man. Gosh, just your place okay? I know, that she's being honest to her true feelings, but there is some line to draw. Having said that, I like this typical love triangle manga, plus not much tears a la Parfait Tic. Miku is actually a fine heroine except (minor spoiler's ahead) for her feelings towards another girl's boyfriend. And she's not as annoying as Miaka from FY. I don't know how this will end, but I am definitely not rooting for Miku and Shouhei! >.<
It's fine. It's just that I find it so irritating that Miyu ditched her boyfriend so as to confess to that guy who has a girlfriend, already. Her ex seems okay and more mature.
not finished reading but I kind of feel bad for Miku's ex. And Miku for some reason doesn't annoy me, even though she IS technically the jealous and cry over boys type that I don't like.
Oh well, this is not really bad, but... the storyline is so typical, it's a bit boring and the art isn't that great. The feelings might be a bit more realistic than in other shoujo manga, but it's not quite enough to keep me interested. I think I'll keep on trying for a few more chapters, but without any major change, I'm gonna drop this one.
Sprout is a wonderful romantic comedy! It takes a different take on the typical shoujo manga, and has a truly great sense of humor. It also makes the romance slightly mysterious, as it doesn't make couples or crushes stupidly obvious/corny. I can't wait for more chapters to be released; I recommend it whole-heartedly to manga-readers who like a good, clever, and hilarious romantic comedy!
I think i like this manga because it started differently. Not a typical shoujo where a girl likes a boy and confesses in the middle. The beginning that miku is going out w/ kataoka, the boy she likes going out w/ miyu is somewhat complicated. The boarders are also funny. I really look forward to what's going to happen
if miku would end up confessing to narahashi. or will still end up w/ kataoka. I'm only in volume 2 and i can't wait for the next volume. I'm depending w/ OCHIBICHAN..!!
