Reality isn't a shoujo manga, and Miku Ikenouchi's friends know that perfectly well. But then again, they are not Miku-chan. The reason for this is that Miku-chan has a boyfriend, a third year, and is content with what she has. But then a chain of events occur which leaves Miku-chan with a rival (for cuteness), her father quitting his job... and a new roommate? 3k3k5a
7 Volumes (Complete)

so far i've only read up to volume 4, and at the end of volume 4, it was such a cliff hanger!! and the atmosphere in volume 4 was getting tense...xDD This time, the girlfriend's gonna start getting insecure & jealous. lol 😀
Awesome read, btw 🙂
This manga really does portray a more realistic 'teenager' kind of life when it comes to romance... The jealousy, the pain, the betrayal.. the hatred.. pretty typical.
The only problem i have with this manga is i really dont like Miku [ the female lead ]
I really REALLY hate her character. Im not at all with girls who cry over other boys.. who fall in love with other guys when they ALREADY have boyfriends.
I really don't like the fact that she's easily jealous. Girls like that are just
easy chicks. =_=
Overall, i really like the story, just hate her character and hopefully
it develops and matures to where she isnt such a jealous cry baby.
sigh

I guess I kind of understand why you guys all hate Miku. She's a crybaby, and she's coming onto another girl's man. But I personally think Miku's still a great person. She's genuinely a good person. She feels bad for liking Sohei, and even worse for interfering with his relationship, but she can't stop herself. It's not something that can be stopped. She LIKES him. She didn't choose to like him, but she did. How can you guys blame her for liking him?
I really like the way this manga concluded. Not overly romantic, not cliffhanger-y. You get just enough. Life goes on. It's simple. People are going to be people. They're going to have mixed feelings, they're going to react in stupid and jerk-like ways. They're going to do bad things and confusing things. As long as you understand that, then you'll have no problem reading Sprout. Unless, of course, people doing stupid things irritate you to no end.
