I should have read reviews before I started reading

I agree with everything every other reviewer has said and then some. Premise got me interested, but the story fell off big time. It has lots of glaring issues like storyboarding, lack of meaningful relationship building, pacing, needing too much suspension of belief, etc. I kept reading to see if could redeem itself, but even the ending felt anticlimactic. I couldn't connect with any of the characters (maybe because the POV kept changing), but some characters got redeemed way too quickly and suddenly become all buddy buddy with the main characters.

Even though I enjoyed content in it it's still clearly a bad story.

The story lacks clear direction, antagonist characters you think are potential threats turn out to not so dangerous despite what they put the main characters through. Like it can't take itself seriously and sticks with the "we're all friends in the end alternative" Despite those characters never earning that type of ending but more so because the author became bored with them. Nice art and it's not the worse thing I've read but feels intentionally lazy and that's what bothers me.
It's ashamed because it started with a nice concept but turned out to be drama for the sake of drama and this is coming from a reader who enjoys drama.
Another thing is the story goes in an unexpected route, not a plot twist but more for the sake of plot convenience. To make the story more interesting but even that didn't last long and was swept under the rug like it wasn't a big deal.
This all could have been forgiven if the romance was worked on too but you can forget about that. The main characters don't move past the stage of attraction so the relationship feels cheap.
Like I said a good concept but a waste of time because the story could have turned out better than it was, it had psychological horror potential with all the creepy obsessed subscribers and peer pressure that felt almost unavoidable.
I will give this a 2.4 for the arts sake and , carefully done, the author just needs some guidance in the writing area.

Just awful 😅

It's too bad because the art was pretty good, but the story, plotline and progression were just absolute trash. LOL. I can't help but laugh at how bad it was.

Like, nothing made sense in this series. Things got introduced but then sidelined, forgotten, not addressed, or flat out ignored. It... was just very lacking in everything, and all aspects (except the art). I feel like it started off in one direction but then went in a completely different one, and so by the end it's like "wtf was the point". I think I'm experiencing some whiplash.

I will say that the author(s) tried to deliver the message of this series, which is to "listen to your sound". Something along those lines. It is a very meaningful message, but the delivery and execution of it was just plain bad. Awful. So poor.

I feel bad giving such a negative review, but you can read it and see if you have any different thoughts lol.

A nonsensical, aimless story

Pretty terrible. The premise already stretches believability to its extremes, but the setting just keeps pushing it more and more until it becomes ridiculous:

  1. Unauthorized, irreversible camera implants in the eyes of people? Why not!
  2. The protagonist not being mad at this, despite that a person lied to use him for their own benefit, got him fired from the previous job, is being a douche for the most part, and seems to be rekindling old traumas for him? Sure!
  3. None of this is apparently illegal (not like it can be kept a secret, with streams happening constantly, people yelling about it left and right, and being upset by this situation)? Of course not!
  4. Stupid, obnoxious plans from the people in power, with unclear goals and yet somehow almost everything goes as they way want, because of author's fiat? Can't see why that's a problem!

This isn't even at the level of bad fanfiction, nor does it seem to have any redeeming qualities, at least at first (I couldn't stand it for very long at all). Maybe this author is just really bad at setting up a story, but can make up for it later, but I certainly won't stick around to find out.
