Description

One day while walking home from her job, Kurumi Akino finds a wounded young man, and saves his life. He mysteriously disappears after that, and leaves only the name “Hakuron”. Next thing she knows she’s been kidnapped from her school, and is on a private jet with that man, heading to China. It turns out she saved the life of the most infamous mobster in Hong Kong, and he wants her to stay with him. y5u5b

Ripped her ?!! O.o and still shes attracted to him ? and love a man like this !!!!!!!!!! OMFG FOR REAL ?l ? does japanese girl anjoying been molsted or ripped ? cause i'm confused why would she write something awful like this >: i couldn't even go through the first chapter >< he saved so he can violet her /It doesn't make any sense. -_-

To me this is one of those manga that you either love it or hate it. This was probably one the first mangas I read when I started reading manga and this was one of the first I read when I started smutty mangas and this manga just absolutely broke my heart. Now the reason I dislike this manga wasn't because of what other people seemed to hate it for but I hated it because of the ending. The ending just left me feeling so absolutely empty and unfulled that I couldn't really be happy. But I really loved the art and the way things was ed. But even though this manga is a stereotypical shoujo manga with the way the everything happens I still didn't mind it and kept reading and until the end I would probably have loved it but like I said the ending was just so frustrating that it just upset me. Also this was before I really understood manga and how to read all the genres and things like that so I was just completely unprepared for the ending. But for some reason I can't fathom I love Mayu Shinjo's work and while the storyline was completely unrealistic I still loved it alot. So like I said if you want to read this be prepared to either love it or hate it.

(P.S I still gave this manga a 10 for some reason I don't understand)

When reading this mange, be prepared for a roller-coaster of emotion. You will grow from hate to love to frustration to irritation and more all within a single volume. I'm about to re-read this series and I can't wait to read down memory lane. Even through the 300+ mange that I've read, this one has always stayed at the top of my memory. I will never forget this amazing story.

It seems that manga written by Mayu Shinjo has little variation as she can draw one male and female and the only thing that changes is hair length and colour. This manga in particular rolls out all the cliches in the Shoujo handbook from rich teen boyfriend, kidnapping to amnesia which are occasionally enjoyable to read.
However I cannot enjoy this manga due to all the rape. Before a certain event the story was a classic and was progressing predicatively, then following an event there was nothing but rape for ages and the only reason I kept on reading was that I found out from a spoiler that

The lead male character turned rapist gets shot and dies in the final chapter

I would not recommend this series to anyone unless they are the type of person that loves that kind of stuff.

I would've given it a 10, if not for those way too brutal rape scenes.
I generally loved it. Usually I get bored really fast by mangas and never bother to read every word, but with Haou Airen it was totally different. It only took me a day and a half to finish reading! Something about Shinjo Mayu's work is working on me.
It's hard to surprise me, but this manga surprised me at times. When I least expected it to.
I enjoyed this manga very much and I totally recommend it to others.

I did enjoy this story, but there were moments when I wanted to stop. The only times I wanted to stop were when Hakuron became WAY too possessive over Kurumi and forced sex on her all the time. It's like her whole day was devoted to her practically being raped by Hakuron. I still don't understand why he woul forcefully have sex with her, when he cared about a lot. Luckily, she had a memory problem so she forgot about what Hakuron did and their relationship turned back to normal, back to how it used to be before sex every day. I did cry my eyes out at the end though for they were about to be married when something happened. And, Kurumi and Hakuron's relationship was really good, but then someone had to interfere in their lives to seek revenge for what Hakuron did to Kurumi. I wish the ending weren't as depressing and I wish Hakuron wasn't so possessive or else I would really love this manga. But, I do still enjoy reading it.

At first i thought hey the plot line is good, and it is progressing ok, but then man it was rushed. Also who rapes the somone you love continuously? I was so shocked, probably was one of the shocking experiences ever, this is what you call horror in normal life without gore.

this was fucked up i give this a minus infinity..... i mean i love sex secene .i freaking love yaois for god sake.. but this shit i raced through it so bad i stopped and jumped to the last chapter and bum he fucking die i was like da hells up with the mangaka musta been high or drunk when they wrote this piece of crap i so regret coming across it.. one of the worst i have ever read.... ruin my day

Why can't we give 0 to a manga? Because this shit don't even deserve 1. I read other Shinjo Mayu but this one I can't, it's awful. The girl have no personnalities, Hakuron is a bastard who think he could do anything we want because he is handsome (well not my type) and in mafia. The story is all about rape, violence, humiliation, then a fucking fairy tale. A "she will like sex so then she will love me" logic and then he is a prince come be true by the end, it's all shit. The WORST!

This is a hit or miss kind of manga, either you'll love it or you'll hate it. What can I say? I have a thing for Mayu Shinjo, an embarrassing weakness if you want. And from all I've read from her, which is quite a lot, I think this is Shinjo at her best. Yeah, it's melodramatic and has lots of clichés, but it really touch me, I kind of cry too. And it wasn't because of the ending, but because of how their relationship turned in one point. Maybe I was heartbroken and more sensible. I don't know, I just know I've read it more than once. I couldn't stop reading it, I can get tired of Shinjo sometimes, but with this one, I just couldn't stop reading!

So, if you are a Shinjo fan or have a thing for her work like me, you'll probably love it. If you are a newbie, there's a chance you'll love it too. If you hate her other work, forget it, this is not for you, don't even try it! It's hard to give it a rating. The art is really good, I like this type of bad boys mangas, and I really think this one it's her best one. Yeah, it's disturbing and what not, but I live dark mangas and angst once in a while. It's not for everyone, if you take things too seriously, don't read it. It's just a manga for me, another story, I enjoyed it and I just let it be.
