To be honest I just found it very average. I finished it, and I'm glad it isn't like 100ch otherwise I might not have finished it. I found the ending a bit unsatisfactory and towards the end it seemed a bit rushed. I liked the ideas of the characters but I felt like with the way the story was told we don't really get time to be very attached to them, not to mention it was hard to keep track of the minor characters as they'd be introduced and then killed off in the same chapter... As other people have said, interesting prospect but imo bad use of it.
If you're tired of women being hostages all the time or only existing for the sole purpose of fanservice, read this! it's such a relief having a badass be such a crucial part of a story for once. another great thing about this is that there is a pretty even amount of female fighters that actually have a role and are strong enough to hold their own. They also get their own screen time and their fighting methods are pretty realistic. This is a very fast paced manga that generally ends each fight in a chapter or a few more, so don't expect too much complexity or strategics. Good for reading a refreshing quick story that has interesting characters and treats them like real people.
this manga is so beautiful. the semi realistic art remind me of the immortal samurai, where every page are washed with the innards of the fallen drawn to exquisite detail for us to enjoy. and you can never truly predict who will live and who will die for the secondary characters and until the end you will be surprised who actually live to tell the tale. this seems like a straight manga where death after death occur, but behind it theres simple but effective little plot twists that keep you turning the page wanting to know what will happen next.
and truly, this never paint them as the good guys unlike some manga that glorify pirates and hitman, so you enjoy them being them without such pesky things as morals. and even so, justice triumph in the end and you will be left satisfied on all .
this is a great manga to feed your violence fetish. read it!
I think it is a bit underrated.
Seinen readers are tired of shounen as the shounen route surfaces, but I think that it is not important. The author had focused on philosophy, interesting social structures/changes, visual arts and martial arts, and that's what the manga trying to show you, for me, it is a 10/10.
Sidenote: It is not relevant to the manga, but the translation from Illuminati-Manga sucks. The translator has some sort of religious background or something. It uses the word "Divine" "Zealous" "Holy" quite often, I don't understand what it means and I don't like these tones, it is unnatural. It destroys my reading experience.

The manga starts out on a fun, gritty, gory note and has everything you might need for a fun romp through an urban gangland: hot guys with big weapons, questionable morals, and a whole lot of over-powered Yakuza and bounty hunters who need killing.
The first half of the manga goes along smoothly, fleshes out the conflict and new characters it introduces, provides a motive for the protagonist, and actually builds an intriguing little world inside of its plot that really drew me in.
Then for whatever reason, the manga just shot off into the usual disappointing cliches. The conflict between Tennouren and Gabriella was something that I really liked through and through, but after awhile even that started to tank and drag itself under, too.
So, unless you're in mostly for the hot guys, which is one thing this manga doesn't disappoint with, I wouldn't really recommend getting too involved with this one. It's just one great build up that tanks into inevitable disappointment.
Mostly, the ending is just straight up awful.

Would be your average shounen manga, but the art is really nice (hence, 7.5 rather than 7) The action sequences are done very well. Plenty of gore, but didn't bother me too much since people were mostly getting sliced in half, no closeups of guts spilling out .
The characters/world could have been more fleshed out. Other than that, really no complaints. It was an enjoyable read, fairly average but nothing bothered me. Nothing stood out as spectacular, which is why it's not rated 8+
The subject of this post sounds very naughty, haha. But what I mean to say is that the illustration on this manga is superb. Rough at the right parts and smooth, thick lines in others--very shounen. The abbs are greatly exaggerated though.. To the point of ridiculous sometimes. Quite a male dominant cast.
Lots of "picturesque" scenes...you know, those scene where the illustration and the composition blend perfectly, making the prefect wallpaper. So, basically, cool posing and all that. 😉
I sought out this manga because I wanted good fight scene, and this manga fulfill that desire perfectly. Lots of sword fightings.
Though I am sometimes distracted by the art (the abbs) or the gore.
I'm not a squeamish person, so the gore (i.e. body parts cut in half) doesn't bother me as much as it probably should. But I must warn others reading this: be prepare for the blood and gore.
Plot: it's good so far. Typical gang scruffles. I'll update again on this when I finish reading it.
this is in my list of being one of the best to read out of my category ( see subject) got to say the ending left me satisfied but wanting more.. this is a must read trust me u wont get bored
Mediocre manga in all aspects. It starts with some potential but you soon come to realize that's all the author can do. He had a nice idea but wasn't able to develop it.
The story is boring though there's a lot of action, you still don't care about it or any of the characters. This manga is listed as seinen but it's simple as a shounen.
The art is ok. It has some strong points but it can't fill the void the story leaves.
